24.01.2022 This Nissan Elgrand came to us with a blown motor, we found that the primary catalytic converter had collapsed and the debris caused a blockage in secondary cat. This meant the exhaust gasses had no where to go but back into the engine. We fitted a new engine, radiator, primary cat and deleted the secondary cat to prevent this from happening again. Message us for any diagnosis, repair or warranty approved log book servicing!

02.01.2022 This customer came in asking us for help as their previous mechanic had replaced the rear main seal twice and it was still leaking. The customer also said they asked the previous mechanic to diagnose an engine noise however they could not find the problem. After listening to the engine we suspected it was timing chain noise, we pulled off the cover to find the chain was stretched and was even rubbing against the timing chain cover. We removed the transmission and found that t...hey had fitted the rear main seal incorrectly, the lip of the seal had been rolled and was facing outwards. Also the amount of sealant they used was way too much which even got onto the lip of the seal. We rectified all the problems, ensuring there was no more leak before letting the car go.
