21.01.2022 In 3 days we are starting this gruelling journey of cycling from Brisbane to Birdsville! Have we gone completely mad wanting to cycle 1600kms in 8 days?! We work in remote communities often with many of our projects throughout Australia and felt that educating young aboriginal Australians around nutrition, hygiene, substance misuse and physical activity and keep them in the educational cycle would equip them with the skills necessary to gain employment after school and woul...d help to break the cycle of the issues highlighted. Not only do we get to have this awesome Medical Response Vehicle and Off-road Caravan fully equipment with all the First Aid supplies you could possibly need, they are also providing a Paramedic for the entire trip (just in case we have any nasty falls and after what we have seen during the guys training Im thinking this is going to come in very handy )....
