25.01.2022 If anyone is interested in trying out for state these are the dates: Round 1- 28th/29th March at Dandenong. Round 2- 2nd/3rd May at Geelong.

23.01.2022 FOR OUR DARTS VICTORIA MEMBERS: The Darts Victoria committee are eagerly looking forward to the return of darts, hopefully in the early months of 2021. In January we have the Bendigo 5-aside and Victorian Classic in Morwell.... We also have the AGM planned for the beginning of February. We are sad to announce Andrew Coburn will not be returning to the DV committee next year, after over 10 years of putting his time, effort and expertise into Darts Victoria, he will saying goodbye to the darts community as a committee member. He will certainly be missed. So we are asking for nominations for Darts Victoria President and Men's CD. Head over to the DV website for job descriptions for each role. 21.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS: MPDL SUSPENDED Unfortunately in the light of recent events, and the continuing Coronavirus Pandemic, it is with a heavy heart that we inform you the MPDL will be suspended until the 15th of April. It is the decision of the committee to postpone all matches from now until the 15th April in order to limit any possible spread of the virus, and to reduce any risk to our players. ... The committee did not make this decision lightly, but we must put our players health first. The committee will revisit and reassess the situation before the 15th April, and we will keep you updated. Please make sure all players and teams are aware that there will be no games played until the committee agrees it is safe to do so. We hope everyone stays safe. Make sure you are practising social distance and even self-isolation if you have to. If you have any questions, contact your captains or your contest directors. Thank you, MPDL Committee.

15.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL TEAMS AND PLAYERS: An important message from the Committee. Hi all,... I hope that you are all keeping yourselves well and safe. I would like to take this chance to update you on the summer season of darts. The MPDL committee has decided that due to the restrictions still being in place and venues closing for the time being, that we are not going ahead with the rest of the summer season. As of now darts is shut down so to speak. The committee feels that it is in everyones best interest to not go ahead with the rest of the season. As for the winter season we are not sure yet if we will go ahead. The winter season at this stage is a wait and see. Take care of yourselves. - Nicky Holland, Committee Member

13.01.2022 Good day all, Darts Victoria has issued a statement regarding their Return to Sport Plan Guidelines. Our Committee will have received this, but it would be beneficial for all teams to read through the document so that there is prior understanding. There is still no plan to resume MPDL matches, your Division Contest Directors will contact you if anything is required or if any new information comes to light. ... Given the sudden reemergence of the virus, the MPDL would like to remind everyone to follow government guidelines and to ensure you are doing all you can to keep yourself and loved ones safe. 17.11.2021 ATTENTION ALL TEAMS: Information regarding the Winter Season From Geraldine MPDL SECRETARY... Hi All. It is with regret that I have to inform you all that the MPDL will not be having a Winter Season. With the situation as it is in Victoria we must put our members wellbeing first and foremost. Also none of our venues would be able to accommodate us with the restrictions and some are not even open as yet. All of you and yours stay well during these difficult times and please all come back for 2021. Those who have paid the affiliation fee it will roll over to next year. Best Regards Geraldine
