25.01.2022 *** Coach Announcement *** In another big step forward for CFS, we are proud to announce that we have employed the services of two of the most experienced and q...ualified coaches in the Region! Former Bulli First Grade Coach - Matt Bailey and current FSC SAP Coordinator Phil Saunders. Both coaches need no introduction to the region in terms of their Football knowledge and coaching abilities. After a decorated and highly successful playing career with both the Wollongong Wolves (2008 NPL Champions) and numerous titles in the Illawarra Premier League. Matt since turned his hand to coaching and lead Bulli to its most successful era in the clubs History. This included a Premiership in 2018, Minor premierships in 2017,2018 and Bampton Cup success in 2017. Matt currently holds an FFA C Licence. Phil Saunders was a League Champion with Cringila's all conquering team in the early 1990's. After playing a number of years in the Illawarra Premier League, the Wollongong High School PE Teacher turned to coaching. He has been the cornerstone of the Football South Coast SAP program, leading the development of a number of the regions best junior players. He has recently coached the Australian Schoolboys team to a successful tour of England. Phil has a current FFA B licence. A great step forward in the growth of the CFS model and implementation.
