09.01.2022 In an update from Hockey Victoria today we were advised that they are not anticipating a return to play of Hockey Victoria’s Metropolitan competitions until at least Wednesday 16 June 2021. This will be subject to further State Government directions. HV have not yet provided any plans on how the fixtured rounds of hockey that do not occur because of the Covid restrictions, will be accommodated. These plans will be communicated to our members as soon as we have them. As we en...ter yet another period of lockdown, we hope you are all staying healthy and are remaining in regular contact with family and friends while we await a return to playing hockey. Take care

08.01.2022 ALL HOCKEY ACTIVITY SUSPENDED Effective immediately Hockey Victoria will suspend all HV hockey activities and postpone the start of the Winter competition until 1 May 2020. FULL HV STATEMENT: https://hockeyvictoria.org.au/news/covid-19-information/

08.01.2022 Hockey Victoria have just issued an update to their COVID-19 RESPONSE statement this afternoon: https://hockeyvictoria.org.au/news/covid-19-information/ Based on the current position of the Government and the relevant authorities, and given that none of the planned activities exceed the 500 people mark in one venue, Hockey Victoria will adopt a ‘business as usual’ position until such time when the directive from the Government changes. At this stage, HV are still working towards delivering the 2020 Winter Competitions as planned, with specific health & safety guidelines in place.

05.01.2022 NOTICE: CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 The latest advice from Hockey Victoria and Hockey Australia respectively is to continue with planned hockey activities but increase hygiene measures and implement self-exclusion if exhibiting flu-like symptoms. At this stage, it is everyone’s personal choice as to whether they participate or not as we have not been cancelled by either HV or Monash. Members will be notified if this situation changes.... If any member is experiencing flu-like symptoms they should refrain from playing, training and spectating at the first sign of the symptoms and seek medical advice. Please let your coach and/or section coordinator know if you cannot train. Read more here: https://mphc.org.au/2726-2
