21.01.2022 It's hard to find them sometimes, but there are silver linings to Covid and this current lockdown. I have landed my first wedding ceremony. Oh yeah, baby! Fresh reserve, straight off the bench. Am helping out a Celebrant colleague as she can no longer travel to Brisbane due to the restrictions and requirement to quarantine on the way home.... Bit excited ... bring on Saturday!

21.01.2022 Introducing Mr and Mrs Hoolahan Kathy and Joe’s wedding - was a case of 3rd time lucky. Covid-19 caused 2 postponements in 2020 and the lock down this week, nearly caused a 3rd postponement. The lifting of some restrictions, cleared the path. This wedding was happening today come hell or high water!!... With ordinary weather on the cards, The Sebel Brisbane at Margate Beach and the amazing Annalise Beech stepped in to help with an indoor space. We were go! The ceremony was a buzz, the room was filled with loads of laughter, buckets of love and a shed load of happy tears. Kathy and Joe, thanks for having faith in me be the fresh reserve, off the bench to deliver what you envisage your wedding ceremony to be.

07.01.2022 Activate plan B... Saturday forecast - 60% chance of showers, most likely afternoon. Southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h... Not great weather for a beach wedding ceremony. Always have a plan B, and may even plan C on standby .... just in case. T-20 hours
