25.01.2022 Feeling Full. As someone who proclaims to dance between science and spirituality, it was an absolute thrill to immerse myself in a collective of seekers today at #gabriellebernsteinsydney To the #spiritjunkies who joined today (over 2000 btw! Yep - looks like there’s a lot of people calling out for conscious leaders!) Thank you. I enjoyed every conversation and story. But the highlight of my day was meeting James @new.south.wales I had the privilege of talking with thi...s incredible human when I took a longer than planned walk for lunch. I first spotted a pic he’d drawn that I’d seen before on the ground (a whole other story) then was drawn in by his quiet, committed focus to his craft. In chatting with James, I learned he identifies as having Aphantasia, the suggested name for a condition where one does not possess a functioning mind's eye and cannot voluntarily visualize imagery. When I asked how he produces these pieces, he shrugged. As we talked, I watched him work. This guy is truly gifted. Ink drop by ink drop, he brings a vision, his or someone else’s, to life. I’m going back to see James when I’m in Sydney in a fortnight. I completely support his dream to turn his artwork into a business that enables him to live free from financial burden again. He wants access to business knowledge, and to make enough money to digitally scan one piece as his MVP. We brainstormed so many ways to make this happen. One thing remained consistent. For being there with your laughs and love when life throws us curveballs (who would have thought last year would have given us a head start with mask fashion ) and for reminding us ALWAYS to stop, and be present.
