07.01.2022 Last week’s isolation task was much more sombre than previous (and future) tasks. In recognition of the solemnity of Anzac Day there is no light-hearted poem from Adrian so here instead is the Ode: They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, ... we will remember them Our members were asked to take or compile photos that honoured our fallen. This week's post includes the back story to each photo to give our readers some context. Lest we forget.

07.01.2022 A little belatedly, here are some pics from our Easter self-isolation task. And, of course, Adrian's poem: Looking forward to Easter it means a chocolate feaster Make the occasion rock... with loads of yummy choc. Ask the bunny who loves a carrot to share with a squawking parrot. No way he says, not what he needs, give him a bowl of lovely seeds If we had a self-isolating bunny now that would not be funny Let's keep our Easter fun Don't forget your hot cross bun. Last week's task was toilet paper - we'll post those pics shortly.

05.01.2022 Last week's isolation task was "going green". Our pics are attached. And Adrian has come through with another poem. Thanks Adrian! If I say red compliments green Do you know what I mean? They are the best compilation to be seen... To see red and green I am always keen. To go green you may need a permit So pay a visit to Kermit But while talking to this Muppet Please remember he’s just a puppet We'll compile and post the pics for this week's task "cooking" in the next couple of days. The task for the coming week, to honour mums of all kinds, is "parents and kids". Hopefully it won't be long before we are able to go out freely and take photos wherever we like.
