25.01.2022 So here at Mr. Fish Rescue we rescue fish that need new homes for many reasons and most times they tend to be on the larger side. So on Friday we went and did a thing. We bought a small aquarium to have a micro fish setup. The small fish are in another aquarium whilst this one settles in. The fish are a school of 6 rummy nose tetras and 6 pygmy corydoras. Please don't judge our aquascaping skills to harshly as this is a first for us.

24.01.2022 This is just a friendly public service announcement that we have other commitments coming up next weekend so if you wish to book for rehoming services and or maintenance of aquariums please book it for Monday to Friday Kindest regards The Big Fish

24.01.2022 Hey there fishy family and friends I would like to introduce you to the latest rescue to join our rescue family. Deformed Mystus Vittatus Catfish that was born without a lower jaw.

23.01.2022 I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to our fishy family and friends that have supported and liked us. We have now grown to the size where we will have ourselves registered as a charity and have a second Mr. Fish Rescue for aquarium maintenance/transport and tank sitting and as such as we grow we are reaching out to the community for any donations to help keep us going so we can help all the water babies out there whether it's a re-home or permanent addition to our aquariums. Thank you Soo much everyone

22.01.2022 So the other day we rescued a barramundi, Oscar, two green terrors, two spangled perch. The perch and one green terror were rehomed to new owners successfully and the others have become permanent residents in our aquariums. Photos will be coming shortly as we are giving them time to settle in and adjust

20.01.2022 So today we had an interesting rescue mission and added an odd new member to our family. Also yes we have a reptile license

19.01.2022 To everyone thinking of buying a fish for their children or grand children this year please consider as to whether or not you have the room to upgrade the tank for goldfish which can be 60L per goldfish or in the case of fighter fish tanks please look into betta haven or imagitarium tanks for adequate housing for your waterbaby. If you have any trouble finding tanks suitable for your needs please let me know and I can source a tank that will suit the needs for what you are purchasing. Have a swimmingly fishy Christmas everyone

10.01.2022 On Monday one of our first ever rescue fish Brock a geophagus brachybranchus passed away. He came into our care with severe hole in the head and was given the diagnosis from the store that he had about three weeks of life left. After being with us for two years he started to slow down on Friday and on Monday he passed away

01.01.2022 I believe that no matter how deformed or damaged a fish is it deserves to be loved and cared for. Let me introduce one of our many rescue fish an Oscar named Concorde. He may have no eyes but that doesn't stop him from being beautiful. I think it's an incredible honour to be able to able to hand feed him. Please enjoy this short video.
