21.01.2022 Happy 6th Birthday!! Cheers to us, our team, our family, our friends who are family and our loyal customers Happy 6 Years to all of us! We’ve done bloody good! Long hours. Weekends away from loved ones. We’ve all sacrificed so much but it’s worth it. Most importantly......thank you to our beautiful girls Tamika, Ashlan & Siahn For missing out on weekend family time, for working shifts when we need you too, for understanding when we’re too tired for an afternoon bike ride. Everything we do, we do it for you.

15.01.2022 We. Are. Mentally. Exhausted. Our intention is to stay open for as long as possible. We watch all press statements made by Scott Morrison and we implement them immediately! Are we doing the right thing by staying open? Were not sure! We cant predict the future! ... But.....our MrP Team are Family to us and we will not close our doors and leave them jobless until SM insists we all go into lockdown! So, you across the road taking photos of our shop and posting them on your social media. Stop! Just worry about yourself. And those who have called questioning how many people are in the shop, and then hanging up. Stop! STOP being such awful human beings! Are you hovering out the front of supermarkets taking photos of the large number of people huddled together?! You speak of kindness to all.....this is not kindness! We are trying to do our best in a time where we have never experienced anything like this. What is right? What is wrong? We do not know. Nobody does. Be kind Help each other Dont harass each other Its ugly behaviour We are down to 25 seats inside, well & truly within the indoor gathering restrictions. When it may seem we have a lot of customers out the front, some are seated, some are simply waiting outside for takeaway.

12.01.2022 Update ~ we are closing over Christmas. Closed Monday Dec 23rd - Wednesday Jan 1st Re-opening for coffee Thursday Jan 2nd. ... We still dont have an opening date for the cafe. And its a prediction we cant make either. Please be patient. We are answering the same questions on a daily basis. The new cafe is going to be far greater than what we had originally anticipated. 05.01.2022 Another successful day yesterday! Once again our village came together to provide us with the most delicious baked goods! Thank you also to those who popped in throughout the day to buy from us or just donate money Our Little Girl Gang ran the stall like Qweens! and we were lucky enough to have Izla on the stall selling the treats......she was in her element! Together they raised $1844! All of which Izlas Purple Crusade will pass on to The Epilepsy Centre. ... 01.01.2022 Over the years people have asked us if we long for a boy. I can honestly say, we dont. We are happy with what we have. Are you disappointed with your Girl? No? Then why would we be disappointed with our 3 Girls. You can kick a footy with your girl, you can put up a new fence with your girl, you can teach her she can do whatever her heart desires. As we pack up the old shop, our girls have been all hands on deck. Weve given them Stanley knives, electric sanders and ladders t...o climb. The oldest doesnt often take risks, but put her in a Go-Kart and shell smash you. One of our girls plays soccer and is a damn good goal keeper for her team. Another has talked about being a spray painter.....maybe its in her genes, her Nonno is a spray painter by trade. Whatever they choose to be.....well support them and encourage them to believe gender holds no boundaries. See more
