25.01.2022 It’s time to get serious about unconscious and this requires a certain level of emotional resilience. Because the truth is, it’s not an easy thing to come to terms with, as individuals or as organisations, because it means we need to acknowledge that we are all susceptible to it, and it requires deeper reflection than most of us are comfortable with. But however awkward it may feel, the cost of doing nothing is now far too great for us to ignore the issue any longer. The huma...Continue reading

17.01.2022 Reflecting on this passage tonight; "Ultimately, the power to transform the world is effected by love, love originating from the relationship with the divine, love ablaze among members of a community, love extended without restriction to every human being. This divine love, ignited by the Word of God, is disseminated by enkindled souls through intimate conversations that create new susceptibilities in human hearts, open minds to moral persuasion, and loosen the hold of biased... norms and social systems so that they can gradually take on a new form in keeping with the requirements of humanity’s age of maturity. You are channels for this divine love; let it flow through you to all who cross your path. Infuse it into every neighborhood and social space in which you move to build capacity to canalize the society-building power of Bahá’u’lláh’s Revelation. There can be no rest until the destined outcome is achieved." Message of the Universal House of Justice to the Bahá’ís of the United States dated 22 July 2020

17.01.2022 How is a drop of water expected to praise the Sun, but to evaporate itself and become undone. How is a grain of salt to worship the Sea, but to dissolve itself and seek mercy. How is the snow to express its love for the Fire, but to melt into nothingness and relinquish all desire. How is a mere human to give thanks to God, but to offer themselves up in service and seek no reward.

16.01.2022 Try to make your actions day by day may be a beautiful prayer. Turn to God, and always strive to do what is right and noble. Enrich the poor, awaken the fallen, comfort the grieving, heal the sick, convince the fear, save the oppressed, bring hope to the hopeless, protect the poor! ( Abdu'l-Baha, Paris Talks )

15.01.2022 ‘This newfound clarity is amazing and brings with it deep contentment and purpose. I feel equipped with tools to bring about real justice. You’ve saved me 10 years of contributing to initiatives that only ‘bandaid’ the problem and don’t address the root cause. It’s like putting on the exact right glasses - all the dots now connect!’ - Sarah J. https://www.erfandaliri.com/systemschange101

13.01.2022 36 years ago we came to this country, my parents and I. Two Iranian refugees with their son, born in India, fleeing religious persecution, with $50, a half-empty suitcase, and two broken accents. Yet right from the get go my dad got stuck right in. Many of you are aware of everything he has done in the decades since, the community development, advocacy and the youth work and Indigenous allyship that has set him apart from his contemporaries for the past 30 years, the PhD in E...Continue reading

13.01.2022 Wasn't expecting this from Toowoomba, but I like it... I understand lockdowns aren't fun, and this isn't to make light of the situation in Melbourne. I'm sending love to everyone in Melbourne. I'm also highlighting that some people are more vocal about health concern lockdowns then we are about indefinite imprisonment and torture in the name of off-shore processing. And that kind of says a lot about them. Let's save some indignation for the state of the world and the broader, deeper, longer standing social justice issues. #Covid #Lockdown #AntiRacism #Refugees #melbourne #asylumseekers #straya #priorities #HumanRights

07.01.2022 How we respond to our world is a direct outcome of how we see our world and our role within it. I encourage everyone who is working for the betterment of society to consider how a shift in perspective can alter their efficacy and their outcomes. www.erfandaliri.com/blog/world-peace-is-inevitable
