10.01.2022 CARONAVIRUS INFORMATION To all Mr Blockage patrons and friends We all know about the Coronavirus and the fears that it has brought with it. After we all started to panic shop one of the first items to leave the shelves as we all know was toilet paper, the logic being China manufactures most of our toilet paper they are not manufacturing at the moment therefore we are going to run out.... This caused people to over buy and often at times toilet paper cannot be bought because the shelves are empty. If you do happen to run out of toilet paper, here are some pointers to prevent your drains from blocking up. Make sure your toilet is functioning properly e.g. The water inlet is working sufficiently, and the cistern is filling up quickly. The water level in the cistern is set so that when you flush it is allowing an adequate flushing action. The outlet valve is working efficiently. Do not use any cloth, wipes,newspaper kitchen paper towel as an alternative to toilet paper. If you do need an alternative the ordinary household tissue one can buy in a box at your supermarket will do. Use what toilet paper you do have sparingly. Lastly make sure your drains are in good working order. If you use these pointers, they should help you prevent blockages from your toilets. Keep healthy in these uncertain times.
