24.01.2022 Hello hello 2020! Well I have just come out from under the rock (I mean doona!) I was hiding under and it's time I said, Hello I'm still here! I was actually here all along but after a crazy busy and exhausting year last year I fell in a heap at the end and it was time to take a much needed extended break. Although I don’t feel as refreshed and rested as I'd like, time away spent off grid enjoying nature, hanging with family and friends is so worthwhile and important. But i...t's mid Feb so it's time to get a wriggle on! For those of you who know me personally know that social media is definitely not my strong point so that’s why things have been a bit quieter here and quite honestly I've been nervous about getting back onto it. But I endeavor to be better at it this year as there is a few exciting things happening here and I will share them with you, I absolutely promise! My sister is taking some time away from the sewing machine and markets to get her teeth into other creative projects. Bobby Stitch will always be both our baby but for now I will be flying solo. But lets face it she will never be that far away and always be hiding in the wings! 10.01.2022 Well were not here today at The Coburg Town Hall as we should have been for The Slow Fashion Market but it would have been a great end to The Fashion Revolution week. This week commemorates the lives lost in 2013 during the Rana Plaza collapse in Bangladesh. The building housed many garment manufacturers and 1,138 people lost their lives and thousands were hurt, most of them were women. Fashion Revolution week calls for us to remember them and push for change in the fashion... industry, to become more transparent because nobody deserves to be exploited or die for fashion. Everybody deserves clean, safe and fair work conditions, so ask yourself the question, 'Who made my clothes?' Be curious. Find out. Do something. 02.01.2022 We are so thrilled to be apart of the amazing Social for Goodness Auction opening tonight at 7pm which will raise money to help those affected in the NSW and QLD bush fires. Over 60 small business have donated items to auction and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to @givit_aus who will provide essentials for those who need it.
