25.01.2022 Lets start Monday morning off envisioning the relaxing ebb and flow of the Purple fountain grass gently swaying in the breeze, bringing the soft reverberating sound of foliage moving with the wind. Bringing a peaceful calm to the start of your week .
24.01.2022 We recently had the pleasure of installing these Ekodeck screens. The home owners choice of screen lets them block off the under house view without compromising on ventilation to the under house area. Plus, we think this modern greystone colour ties in perfectly with the surrounding landscaped areas. The Ekodeck products pride themselves on being versatile and low maintenance. Not only do they look great but the product doesnt require the up keep of timber. Ekodeck use a UV... stable composite material to ensure that the screening wont fade to grey, crack, twist and splinter. Better yet, its rot, decay and termite resistant. What a great product!
24.01.2022 When we love what we do it makes turning rubble to riches a breeze!
23.01.2022 Award nominations are still open and wed love your vote!
23.01.2022 The team are on our Valley Heights project today working with these organic bluestone steppers and arent these steppers just divine! Sliced from bluestone boulders the organic and informal shape of each stepper brings such a natural, alluring aesthetic to this backyard. They certainly are jewels of the garden pathway!
22.01.2022 It is always exciting to see the beginnings of clients dreams start taking shape. The tail end of this week saw the MRC team shape up for this new walkway. With some finishing touches to come it is going to make meandering from the back porch to the yard a whole lot more practical. Recycled bricks are a great option when looking to add instant character and charm to an already established home and yard. Add to this the environmental benefits of reuse and recycle and you are on to a winning choice - reap the rewards of a landscape element with distinctive aesthetics and character, while minimising your eco-footprint during the process!

21.01.2022 Weve been in Katoomba this week creating a small change in this backyard. What was an uneven area beneath this arbour is now a level and stable entertaining space for the home owner. With the afternoons dappled sunlight warming this area it certainly will be a beautiful spot to enjoy a warm cuppa as the sun goes down.
19.01.2022 We are thrilled to announce that we have been named as a finalist in the Service & Trade sector of the 2020 Local Business Awards. We are super excited, proud and extremely humbled - thank you for supporting our small business!
19.01.2022 We love return visits to our clients in Wentworth Falls! We were recently invited back to install a decorative screen and a gravel area. Whilst we were there we captured this image of the water feature that we installed back in October 2018, still looking fabulous!

The MRC team have been working with this sloping Blue Mountains backyard to create an area that both compliments the gradient of the land yet provides the home owners with functional, flowing access from the indoors to the outdoors.... With material choices of organic bluestone steppers, steel edging, steel trellised pergola and a polished concrete bbq bench top when the clients add in their pizza oven this is going to be one ultra modern outdoor entertaining space!

Not only does it look great, modernise and freshen up our clients’ outdoor living space but its insulated properties serve a functional purpose in keeping the space warm in winter and cool in summer. Creating a comfortable atmosphere all year round in this very relaxing outdoor living area.

13.01.2022 The MRC team are at it again! Hand shaping and facing this stunning Yellow Rock sandstone into a more formal look for the retaining wall to come on our latest Springwood project.
13.01.2022 Give your garden the edge! Not only does garden edging keep each defined element where it should be, but it can also be utilised for its aesthetic looks. This steel garden edging that meanders through the yard has created an attractive and defining element. While the surface will weather over time creating an even more dramatic colour and look, its practicality and ease for the home owner to now keep those lawn runners from taking over is second to none, its as easy as whi...pper snipping right up to the edge! At MRC our experience with welding ensures that when we install garden edging it will always be set with steel pins and welded. This ensures that our lines and curves are seamless every time.
13.01.2022 The MRC team have been busy on a number of structural components of this Valley Heights backyard. Take this retaining wall for example:- the glass fence panels acted like a sail atop the old keystone wall which was hollow, had zero footing and allowed too much movement - the home owner had glass fence panels that in turn were breaking. Weve been able to create reinforced footings and constructed a core filled besser block wall that will be tied back to the concrete pool sl...ab to come. Something we take seriously is the structural integrity of our works and although its not the pretty picture of a finished project it is an honest insight into just how serious we are about constructing outdoor living spaces that are built to last.
12.01.2022 Artisans at work
10.01.2022 Our latest Faulconbridge project involved the remediation works on the home owners diy keystone block wall which wasnt standing the test of time. Weve now laid suitable foundations, reconstructed the retaining walls beside the pool and added a drainage solution behind the wall. Weve also incorporated a couple of merbau day beds throughout the wall to provide the perfect spot for lounging by the pool this summer!
10.01.2022 The MRC team have done it again! Using their craftsmanship on our local Blue Mountains Sandstone to take this pool entrance from drab to fab Hand splitting and shaping each piece of sandstone to create this natural, captivating, luxurious and charming set of stairs.
10.01.2022 TUESDAY TIP - A quick little DIY for you too to check in on at your home! These new home owners knew that there was an issue with some subfloor dampness and it didnt take Michael long to notice that the soil alongside the house had built up and was sitting higher than the homes damp course and level of ventilation. In turn it was causing water runoff to be invited in under the home and preventing proper ventilation. A few barrow loads of fill out, amending the levels and fa...ll for runoff and laying down some decorative gravel has created an easy solution to get proper ventilation back in under the house rather than the water runoff that was being invited in previously. Whilst youre spending some more time at home take a stroll around and make sure your garden beds and soil levels havent crept up over time on you!
10.01.2022 The apprentices are trying their hands at the art of acrylic rendering today.
09.01.2022 Unsightly air conditioning unit be gone! We recently installed this decorative screen/gate to enable access to the side of this home whilst detracting your eye away from the bulky air conditioning unit. We know that there are plenty of us that have one of these hiding in the side passageway of our own homes! Visit www.mrclandscapes.com.au for more!
09.01.2022 Clients’ with a vision, entrusting Michael and the team to work their magic once again! The team spent a few days getting this one underway and whilst the finished outcome is a ways off yet this polished and niche project is certainly going to make a hot statement piece

03.01.2022 Feedback from our clients (from past projects and present) is always welcome We take great pride in delivering a meticulously high standard when it comes to each and every project and we love knowing just how much you are enjoying and appreciating those works. Our clients at our Winmalee project have chosen some spectacular features that tie this yard together. From the plant choices, large sandstone logs, the stunning porcelain tiles and the modern asthetics of the new pergola. With their addition of the oversized fire pit it has created a backyard that is filled with a modern and luxurious ambience. Perfection!
01.01.2022 Our latest Faulconbridge project has seen plenty of remediation works on diy retaining walls and this week its time to give the old concrete stairs a facelift and theres no better way to bring some local luxury into the pool area than with our local Yellow Rock sandstone.
