25.01.2022 there's no need for beating around the bush today... Lets jump right in... A couple of days ago I sent you the first 2 of 7 lies business owners get tricked by when it comes to marketing your business and getting more sales. Here are the next 2...... LIE #3: If you think you need to invest big and bet the farm to make sure you have the best product on the market. (THAT’S NOT RIGHT. I’M NOT SAYING YOU NEED TO PRETEND YOU DO EITHER). There are other ways to beat your competition like service, "done for you", 'guarantee', 'add ons' and the list goes on! & LIE #4: It is important to invest in design, logos and packaging. (NO - NOT CORRECT). Unless you're already doing several million dollars a year and you can spare the few days it would take all together to hire a pro to redesign everything, it's not needed. Knowing what I know now, I would be focusing on the fundamentals to get more sales - design is NOT one of them. So what is important ? 25.01.2022 Recently I decided to restart my blog to share more of what I’m doing in my business and for people who are in business for themselves too. Is that you? In more recent times, I’ve focused my business on just doing a couple of main things... ...that will still fuel my business to grow but also limit the amount of time that I need to work in it every week. 06.01.2022 Let me tell you 7 things you've probably heard about getting more customers and marketing in general... ...that are NOT true. These were probably spread by pretenders or those who don't know any better. ... Here's the first 2 Lie #1: You’ve probably heard that to be successful online and in business generally, you need to... Be online and be everywhere . THIS IS NOT TRUE - Totally false. The opposite works better. Establish your business in the one place and build your presence there first. It's easier to conquer one mountain rather than trying to climb 2 at the same time. Agreed? Lie #2: Someone who had their own interests in mind has probably told you at some point that you need to: Spend more money on Ads than your competitors. (THIS IS NOT TRUE). Most businesses do not market well. Even though you might see your competitors Ad and logo everywhere, it's very very rarely paying for itself. They are more than likely burning money on the Ads but making it up somewhere else (e.g. referrals, word of mouth... that does not come from the Ad - these are 2 very different things).
