24.01.2022 I get around a fair bit meeting new dogs and people almost daily, and for those that know me, I don't often speak a lot of words to the dog's I handle / work with. In fact I am often telling the humans that dogs are'nt interested in our language, however, they are so more focused on reading our body language along with our actions. Here's some proof:- I just loved how this pair, Ms Narlah (left) & Mr Charlie (right) managed to understand (they read me) what is happening here. There was no practice or any training involved on this day (Honestly!). They had never met & when they did in the back of the ute (Charlie jumping in to meet Narlah) it was a 15 minute drive before dropping Narlah home .... so please watch the video. My hand signal in their eye line is the only thing I use to pause & wait the dog(s). The owners should be proud :)
