02.01.2022 Our most recent flood event damaged many homes and businesses as ex-Cyclone Debbie dumped more than a month's worth of rain on the southeast Queensland and nort...hern NSW region in a single day. People were confined to their homes as surrounding streets and roads were flooded and blocked. The State Emergency Services got over 3,600 calls for help and more than 50 swift water rescues resulted. The most statement made by the public was, I didn’t know I was going to get flooded.
