20.01.2022 This year when you complete any documents think about the following When writing the date do not shorten the year 2020 to 20! The reason being just entering 20 as the year, leaves you open to those who may take advantage of the situation. They can change any document to look as though it was filled out anytime in the last two decades. 2002 or 2015 perhaps. Try to remember this the next time you write the date down.

19.01.2022 JobKeeper - Have you heard the ATO has given a small grace period for enrolling and making payments to employees. You will now also have until 30 May 2020 to enrol in the program. Payments to employees to meet the $1500 per fortnight minimum has moved to 8 May 2020. ... 18.01.2022 Payroll Update - software houses are begun updating their tax tables after the Federal Budget announcement. I know first hand that MYOB and QuickBooks have implemented the new tax tables, Xero will be following shortly.

Many businesses have been required to complete these reports since the financial year 2012-2013, and every year the ATO are adding more industries to the list....
