09.01.2022 Why does my misting line need a filter? Misting systems force water through specially designed nozzles to create a fog of ultra fine water droplets. Misting nozzles have a very small opening that the water passes through, this opening can become blocked by fine particles in your water and over time minerals in your water can build up on the opening causing poor water drop formation. Our inline polyphosphate filters remove these fine particles from your water, help to reduce t...he mineral content of your water and are recommended for all misting lines. We recommend changing your filter approximately every 12 months for town and tank water and approximately every 3 - 6 months for bore, dam and water known to have high levels of calcium and minerals.
