21.01.2022 Mad Max! Wenleys custom triumph received a Mr Moto Clean once over. This bike sure turns heads and had people walking over to ask about it and take pics while I was detailing it outside JCS Motorcycles. Not sure why its called Mad Max but a mad custom bike it is indeed!

20.01.2022 This little 1967 Honda 90cc C201 has been happily awaiting a restoration for the last couple years sitting on a bench after being sand blasted to eliminate the surface rust, then coated in primer. A few weekends ago I decided it was time to get it prepped for a winter restoration/build. Wanting to do something a bit different and have some fun, I decided on doing a rat style build but with fake rust so it can get licensed and rego, also doing a build this style is more of a f...un/art style way of approaching things somewhat differently and not so seriously... 3 items - the centre stand and bracket and the battery strap are original rust and everything else that looks like rust was hand painted on. I used those 3 items as a template to replicate the look I am trying to achieve. I also did a few other tricks on the prep that i will keep up my sleeve for now! Using various brushes applying heaps of coats in different ways to get some layered texture on the surface. The rust effect painting took around 8 and half hours all up so far. Still not totally finished as I will probably add some more rust here and there. Before the rust coats I used a can of gloss black as a base coat then sanded some of it off. Needed it though to get the look I am after. Once the rust effect was at a stage I liked I then rubbed different areas off with a scotch brite pad and sandpapers to expose some black base coat and primer. Did the same with the other bolt on parts including fake rust on the chrome rims. Then clear coated it all to seal it. Pics attached are at a few different stages from the day got it home to now. A fun project that has been very enjoyable so far. Back on the bench for now and it gives me a smile when ever my eyes catch a glimpse. I think it looks cool as! See more

12.01.2022 Triumph Bonneville after a Birthday Detail. It did have dull chrome and corroded raw metal engine, rusty spokes and wheels plus a load of swirls, scuffs and scratches on the painted surfaces. Loads of polishing and a few different types of wax used. Looks brand new second hand now! Lovely bike and its sounds sweet too.

09.01.2022 Ashleys Triumph Thruxton came in for its annual birthday... Full detail-polish & hard and soft wax treatments. Wheel & spoke decontamination and polish. Engine detail etc... Exhaust wrapping still looks mint like the day it was applied over a year ago! Super nice ride too now with some upgrades, fuel controller, exhaust and tuning.

08.01.2022 Set of old original Jaguar wire rims restored and saved! Client was shocked and blown away when picked them up as he thought they were destined for the scrap heap, and a new aftermarket set of wire wheels would need to be purchased. Brand new second hand now!

07.01.2022 Another awesome metallic red colour from Dodge! Snow foam wash and polish. Also one of the most interesting interiors getting around with storage compartments everywhere, under seats, floor boxes with storage containers, even under and behind seat cushions there is bloody storage space!. Lots of nooks and crannies plus felt type of carpets made it a time consuming and longer than expected job on the interior. To do a proper job though takes time. If youre lacking time and effort and the car needs a proper clean and detail give me a call and make a booking at a time and place that suits you.

06.01.2022 Brand new Triumph covered in bitumen, tar and blue metal. Ouch!!! All gone now, had to remove guards and parts to get to it all.

04.01.2022 Black & Kawasaki green wheeled Holden Commodore wagon! Awesome colour combo. Elbow grease package was applied with a wax/polish. Nice results indeed.

01.01.2022 "BIG little" 100cc KAWASAKI 2 stroke engine. Motor has been rebuilt and engine restoration not finished yet, but thought I would post a few progress pics half way through !!! All engine cases have had scratches and scuffs and a few dents removed and a rough polish. Engine barrel and centre casing painted black, fin edges in bare metal aluminium. Still some paint overspray to remove as seen in pics! The cases are only roughly polished and will get another few stages of final polishing. Some new bolts to add some contrast and they should also finish the job nicely.
