17.01.2022 Be kind. Be calm. Be careful.

11.01.2022 Designed as a group activity for young children, this Nature Play Wallhanging kit challenges fine motor skills, builds confidence, encourages creative expression and gives children the opportunity to hold pieces of nature in their hands. There is no need for educators to spend precious planning time getting the activity materials ready as each kit comes compete with: 100 seed pods and tree slices pre-drilled ready for threading 1 long branch pre-drilled with five holes... 300 small beads to use as spacers 5 lengths of threading string Easy to follow instructions Due to biosecurity regulations, this kit can only be delivered to Victoria or New South Wales at this time.

11.01.2022 Repurposing and upcycling preloved woollen blankets is a speciality of Mrs Make Do. We use as much of each blanket as possible. The largest piece becomes a Snug Rug for the team at StKilda Mums to pass on to a family who really need a blanket for their newborn child. We line each Snug Rug with cotton sheeting. The blanket and sheeting remnants become Dolly Blankets for early childhood play or Joey Pouches for wildlife rescue centres. The edges of the blankets get handsewn int...o mini coil mats for early childhood table play and finally, the scrappy bits become birds to accompany our little nests. 02.01.2022 I recently had an opportunity to put my fabric stash to special use...making some thing for myself. This beautiful fabric was perfect for my new jacket, a happy coat. Mrs Make Do loves a splash of happy colours! Cannot wait for the weather to cool down enough to wear it! Thanks to Fiona Quail for technical assistance. #homesewnwardrobe #madebyme #neridahansenprintandtextiles #annebomio ... #makingdomakesadifference #slowfashion #oneofakind See more
