17.01.2022 Mrs Poppins is looking for a casual worker to work under the Gardening and Landscaping services Award Level 1 = $28.29 per hour. Job Description: The right person will need to be a someone who is able to work by themselves with excellent attention to detail.... Someone who is also a good communicator and someone who can utilise Google maps/Waze for efficient driving between clients. All gardening equipment supplied but if you own some gear that is a plus. Minimum Requirements: *** PLEASE LIST IN YOUR APPLICATION WHAT YOU HAVE *** * Own reliable car (sedan or bigger) - Must be serviced * Copy of Valid drivers licence * If not citizen: Passport and work visa * AFP federal police check - * TFN (tax file number) or ABN * Good speaking to communicate with clients * Good attention to detail * Presents well, clean and tidy appearance * Basic understanding of plants/weeds/watering and what is required for basic yard maintenance Preferred: * Experience in gardening and equipment (mower, edge and hedge trimming, blower vac etc, please tell us if you know how to keep a clean engine and keep a good eye on the equipment also +++) * Experience with a high pressure hose for cleaning driveways, concrete * Any additional knowledge is welcome (i.e. plant/watering, oil changes, filter changes on equipment) * Resume outlining experience and referees for character reference * Able to drive to jobs in outside of TWB (most jobs outside TWB come with additional benefits such as an hourly rate for 50-100% of the driving time depending on where you live) * Has a good size vehicle sedan or bigger to fit equipment and grass clippings Extra: * Experience with cleaning products and cleaning homes - just in case we need a spare cleaner in your area and you need some extra hours. Start time: This can vary but you will likely be able to start immediately. You will need proof of your police check before starting or proof that you have submitted your police check. Also you will need to provide ALL of the required documentation before you are paid. You will need to pay for your own police check to be completed. These are usually valid for 3 years.



09.01.2022 MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Provide high-quality domestic assistance to the people we serve, who often include individuals with disabilities and elderly people. Assist individuals with household duties including but are not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, sanitising hard surfaces, cleaning kitchens (including surfaces and appliances such... as stoves, microwaves, ovens, fridges, and freezers), bathrooms, bedrooms and associated areas to the highest standards. Assist individuals with domestic work duties including but are not limited to washing, making beds, changing bedding, ironing, folding laundry, minor maintenance jobs, preparation and cooking of meals, shopping, assistance with care of pets, and care of indoor and outdoor pot plants. Complete records accurately and timely. Work as part of a team, in a unified approach, for the benefit of person we serve. Ensure the safety and protection of the people we serve. Adhere to appropriate work practices to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the person we serve. Notify management of occurring incidents or needs for repairs. Understand and comply with all Mrs Poppins Care Policies and Procedures. Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Policies and Procedures. Performing other duties consistent with the basic responsibilities of the position may be required. 01.01.2022 The company: Mrs Poppins is a cleaning company mainly servicing participants with a disability within the NDIS and some private clients. We have cleaners, gardeners and carers in many locations such as Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba. Our clients need help, and we need to be able to provide good quality services on an hourly basis and drive between participants houses. The job: (Ipswich Location) This job is mainly the cleaning of private residences. This... domestic work includes but is not limited to cleaning and washing; vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, spot cleaning of carpets, ironing, occasional high-level bond/spring cleaning, maintaining equipment and restocking independently via company storage unit. The right person will need to be someone who can work by themselves with excellent attention to cleaning detail. All cleaning equipment (chemicals, vacuum, mop and bucket) supplied. You will be responsible for communicating with your work co-ordinator as per what is happening with your clients and efficiently take action - such as calling your co-ordinator to notify them that a client isn't home.
