24.01.2022 That's a wrap! What a wonderful time we all had being a part of another fantastic MRTG production. With our thanks to everyone who donated their time, energy and talent both on and offstage, we are so proud to call you our family! Thanks to the Margaret River HEART team, and the good folks at Arts Margaret River, for helping to ensure our patrons enjoyed a smooth, enjoyable experience from go to whoa. ... What a treat to be performing in that beautiful new venue! To our parents, partners, colleagues and friends who help with drop offs, pick ups, late nights, costume emergencies, missed parties, tired employees, grumpy over-rehearsed students and all the other things that require such patience through a production, thank you! We could not have done it without you. To Joe Forte, Craig Williams and the supremely talented Jacqui Simons of Soul Photography (who took these amazing photos!), thank you for helping us capture the magic. And finally, to the people of the Margaret River region, who travelled from far and wide (and even from way up in Perth!) to see us, who continually support us with ticket sales, donations, bake offs, dance offs and everything else we do... we love you! 23.01.2022 The curtain has closed on yet another amazing MRTG production! Alice in Pantoland had our audiences laughing, singing and dancing in their seats. Hugest congratulations to the entire cast and crew for delivering a panto of epic proportions. Alice in Pantoland was Fran Gronow’s directorial debut and I think we can all agree she smashed it! Thank you for all your hard work Fran and team. Lastly, a massive thank you to our local community. Our volunteers love putting these shows together and it means the world to us that you come out to support us time and time again. We hope to see you again soon at another quality MRTG Production

MRTG Life Member Carolyn Forte has written and directed her own piece this year, starring long time local Amy Johnstone (another MRTG member!). 21.01.2022 PANTOMIME YOUTH AUDITIONS WHERE: MRTG HQ (25 Station Road) WHEN: Wednesday November 11, 4:30pm We are so excited to meet you all tomorrow!... Please note the Youth Auditions will be run as a group audition, commencing at 4:30pm. The audition will involve following a simple dance routine all together as a group. 14.01.2022 It can't be over... it just can't! We would like to share a few words from our talented director, Fran Gronow in her notes to our audiences... "We have made it! ... "What an amazing, crazy couple of months! From the idea popping into my head to direct a pantomime, to searching endlessly for the right script, to then getting together a great cast and crew I would not have had these last few months any other way. "New friendships are formed, new talent discovered and definitely the need for this community to put on a show! "With over 50 youth auditioning for the panto, I was overwhelmed and blown away with their talent and enthusiasm. "This was the hardest part of the journey as director. Having to let some of those little people down so much so that I took on two chorus groups. "These children are our future stars and I hope that with all the rehearsals and shows, they are inspired to live out their dreams and live their lives to the fullest." - Nicky Lefebvre
