17.01.2022 We Should have been starting the speed rounds for our competition in a few minutes. Ho hum. We all would have been riding like this right! Everyone gets more practice time again now. All the prizes will be carried over to the new year. Bring on 2021and a new competition season! It’s a exceptionally windy blast furnace out there right now though at Montana’s Run. Right call!

12.01.2022 Dear Riders, Officials and Volunteers As you may all be aware severe heat wave conditions are predicted for this weekend. Over the past three days the predicted temperature on Sunday at our grounds has steadily increased from 36 degrees to a predicted temperature of 42 degrees on Sunday with an anticipated humidity factor of 56%. The MRWEQ committee takes the safety of all persons and horses very seriously and it is for this reason that we have made the very difficult decisio...n to cancel Sunday’s competition. At time of writing this we are aware that a number of other events are being cancelled for the same reasons. This is exceptionally disappointing however the risk far outweighs this. Refunds will be issued to all competitors. Thank you for your support during the weather challenges we have faced in our endeavours to organise our competitions during the unprecedented circumstances experienced in 2020.
