25.01.2022 This made me chuckle! Happy Halloween everyone!

25.01.2022 For all the young tradies out there wanting a career, this is too good not to share

25.01.2022 Simple and stylish By adding joinery with a timber element you are giving some warmth to a modern bathroom. You can see the rest of this stunning bathroom on our website www.msaprojects.com.au p.s. the tiles are gorgeous!

24.01.2022 Just a bit of fun! Happy Hump Day!

24.01.2022 Need to move more quickly? Asking how long it takes to get joinery produced is like asking how long a piece of string is. Of course we have general lead times, but every piece is incredibly unique, so the time between our first point of contact and completion often changes during the process. Sometimes a client wants to add elements, or delete them; sometimes there are delays during a new home build. (Which are out of our control). Occasionally we need to wait for other trad...es to finish. So how long it takes to complete can vary. We do our best to complete our projects in a timely manner and when we can, we get them completed ahead of schedule Bottom line, we work with our clients to get the best result If you could upgrade one thing in your home, what would be? a) kitchen b) bathroom c) home office

24.01.2022 I nearly spat out my drink Wishing everyone happiness, prosperity and health for 2021 New year, new dreams, fresh starts #happynewyear2020

23.01.2022 A mirror splashback adds elegance to a kitchen, looks beautiful, really opens up a space and throws light around really well. Whats not to love?

23.01.2022 We have a winner! Cannot wait to pick this baby up and bring her home! If you don't have a Christmas tree sorted yet and you would like a fresh one, then head out to Razorback Christmas Tree Farm They have trees for days! And you would be supporting a local, family business Do you have your Christmas tree up yet?

23.01.2022 COVID-19 is making some Australians feel anxious and worried. Several organisations are available 24/7 that can provide mental health support.

22.01.2022 Expanding your family? Need more storage? Make more room by updating your existing home with a beautiful, quality renovation

22.01.2022 Joinery is a term that often confuses clients. Its basically an industry word for cabinetry. Joinery refers to any cupboards, cabinets, desks, vanities, kitchens, wardrobes etc. All these items are made by a joiner or cabinet maker. Joinery materials include 2-pac (this is a polyurethane painted finish), veneer timber board, solid timber, melamine or laminated board. Common benchtop materials can be the same as above, as well as stone and stainless steel.... If you could get joinery made for your home, what would it be?

22.01.2022 So of course this makes me imagine someone with no eyebrows #eyebrowgoals

22.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone!

22.01.2022 Cheers! What's your favourite drink? Beer? Wine? Cocktail?

21.01.2022 I like big butts & I cannot lie

21.01.2022 Celebration time! Celebrating the special women in my life! Friends near and far. Some Ive known for 20 plus years and some for a only a few, but each have made an impact in my life. I am thankful for all of these friendships: the joy, laughter, stories, support in tough times and honesty - sometimes brutal LOL But most of all, these are all women, who accept me, for ME. I can be myself 100%, warts and all and they dont go running for the hills and yes, that means putting up with my swearing! I see so many posts about women picking each other apart. What for? Just be KIND. There is enough crap in this world without adding to it. We are only here once. So make it count Feeling grateful for all the beautiful friendships in my life x

21.01.2022 Caesarstpne Empira White. Classic. Timeless. Caesarstone has 4 ranges: Standard, Deluxe, Supernatural and Supernatural Ultra. Empira White is in the Supernatural Ultra range, which only contains 4 other colours to chose from making it quite high end. It has a delicate vein and would elevate a modern or hamptons kitchen nicely. Something to consider: you can always re-paint your cabinetry and change handles easily. Consider what stone you are choosing carefully as it is an expensive item to change should you wish to renovate your kitchen. For what its worth, Empira White gets our vote

20.01.2022 quality, always.

19.01.2022 It's only 31 days to Christmas!!! Eeeeeeeek! How come most of the year has felt like it has been going in slow motion and now all of a sudden it feels like someone has hit the fast forward button? A friend asked the other day, "What are you doing for Christmas?" Ummmmmm no idea lol We have been sooo busy in the workshop we haven't even had time to think about Christmas (apart from picking out our Christmas tree ). And don't even get me started on Christmas shopping Hav...e you started Christmas shopping? Are you super organised this year or haven't done anything yet? Support local and tag some of your favourite businesses below Photo credit from Pinterest.

19.01.2022 I don't think there are enough words in the English Dictionary that can adequately describe 2020 First the fires, then COVID. What a year! Matt and I would like to give our heartfelt thanks to each and every new client that trusted us with their project this year. We are also very grateful to those clients that came back for more Our business simply does not exist without each and every one of you. We would also like thank those that referred us to family and friend...s. Our business has survived for 20 years because of exactly that - word of mouth referrals. So thank you We are excited and looking forward to working with our new clients that are booked in for 2021 And if you are considering getting that new kitchen built, upgrading your laundry, or anything else for your home, please get in touch as January, February and March are already booked Wishing everyone a relaxing, happy and joyous Christmas Feeling grateful and blessed x

18.01.2022 A crisp, clean, modern wardrobe with floor to ceiling storage is perfect for a contemporary home. This wardrobe was designed to be consistent with the style of the kitchen (see previous post).

17.01.2022 Lest we forget.

15.01.2022 But Ikea is cheaper.? Yes, IKEA is cheaper. But WHY? Because IKEA is not custom made to your specific requirements. We customise everything, according to your needs & space. IKEA work in bulk, they are large manufacturers with bulk orders. We are individually servicing; no 2 jobs are ever the same. IKEA is cheaper, but we are personal. Our lead times are not fast. We take the time to account for needs & expectations. Getting your custom design done just the way you want it,... takes time. We dont have a manufacturing plant that produces thousands & thousands of pieces, based on set measurements that make a standard size, for standard pieces of cabinetry. Each piece we create is specifically made to your requirments. Quality material & hardware isnt cheap. Ordering quality supplies & designing, changing, updating, re-configuring a design, takes time. You have an idea of the kitchen you want. We design it, & then you want to add things. Or delete. Youve seen something on Pinterest that has inspired you. No problem. We make the changes. We put our advice & experience in the mix too. What would work best both from a practical point of view and aesthetic. Then manufacturing, putting together, checking & double checking the quality & the product & then installing, takes time. We ensure best customer service from enquiry to installations, & even take care after a job is finalised for concerns or further queries. This is not a one cabinet fits all type of factory. And it never, ever will be that way. We dont want it to. We wont compromise on the supplies we use, or how we make our bespoke joinery. We build things to last. Weve made pieces will even outlast our grandkids & we are proud of that. We are about old school quality, values & products, that last. Our standards are high. We started from nothing. We didnt purchase our business with an established reputation & a list of clients. Weve been in business for 18 years, all from word of mouth referrals. 18 years of repeat clients. 18 years of a solid reputation. That counts for something. So, yes IKEA is cheaper. But we like our reputation the way it is. SOLID. Just like our bespoke joinery.

15.01.2022 Cant say I would say no to this

15.01.2022 Thank you to all the heroes that gave their lives, including all the animals Dogs were used as messengers and due to their keen sense of smell they found wounded soldiers. Pigeons had a 95% success rate in delivering messages, due to their speed and ability to fly at great heights. They also captured aerial images with small cameras around their necks. ... Horses were used to pull heavy artillery and also used as transport. They were seen as they key to saving soldiers lives. Slugs were vital too. By the time soldiers noticed the presence of gas, it was too late. Slugs could detect gas well before soldiers could. They showed their discomfort by closing their breathing pores and compressing their bodies. This warning would allow soliders to quickly put on their gas masks. They saved many lives. Cats were used to raise moral by having them as companions and ate the rodents on the ships. We thank you

15.01.2022 About to write some notes and I find this little gem waiting for me #greatstarttotheday

15.01.2022 HELLO! We thought we would give an insight into MSA Projects. I’m Matt and I started out in this industry with an apprenticeship working for a well-known company, B&B Billiards. I loved watching the process of a billiard table being made and was hungry to learn. Soon, I was at a point that I couldn’t get any further and I had a fire in my belly to learn something new. That’s when I went to work for another company as a joiner and concentrated on cabinetry I was there f...or a few years when again, I wanted more and was at a point when my ambitious sights were set on running my own business To this day, I have never advertised and I think that word of mouth is the best referral Over the years I’ve often had clients that come back when they want more work. One client I made a kitchen for, came back 8 years later when he moved, called me again to build a kitchen for him in his new home. To have someone contact you that many years later, says a lot, and means even more. We have recently undergone a name change and new branding thanks to @saffronandcocreative (who is a ridiculously talented lady and one hell of a Graphic Designer she nit only designed our logo but our amazing website too!) MSA stands for my family’s initials: Mine, my wife and my son. My wife, Sylvia, and I are a team, and my son, Ashton, who I am proud to say is following in my footsteps. This is a journey that we all take together I love what I do and I’ve known what I wanted to do since I was about 12 years old. Seeing the look on a clients face once a project is complete, seeing something that has been handmade, bespoke and taken time and effort put into it, is really rewarding. I have the pleasure of designing, one of a kind, bespoke joinery, working with clients on custom projects, and hopefully you will stay with me on my adventure and follow me on future projects

14.01.2022 Our client wanted to upgrade a few elements in their home. We created these mirrored joinery doors which had a study nook behind it with open shelving. We also created a custom kitchen, main WIR, guest bathroom, ensuite bathroom, custom framed mirror and linen cupboard. If you are looking at changing your home, we can help www.msaprojects.com.au

14.01.2022 This legend had a birthday over the weekend Happy Birthday to my partner in crime lol You are one hell of a stubborn, errr, I mean strong willed, ambitious guy! Our business started in your parents garage and has grown over the years from your sheer guts and determination (and okay from my behind the scenes impotant-ness stuff I do too ) Thank you for being an amazing Dad, an honest to God 5 star husband, (yes, I just said that ) and generally an all round good hearted guy Wishing you everything your heart (or stubbornness) desires x

14.01.2022 Said every tradie ever Happy hump day!

11.01.2022 I dont know how the Kardashians do it! It took me way too many goes to get this pic to look like I dont have 3 chins or a forehead the size of the U.S. They make it look so easy. Anyone else do this better than me? Got any tips? Whilst I try and become a better skilled selfie-taker, Matt and I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter We have had a nice time spending time together as a family. The weather has been beautiful and the chocolate has been plent...iful How have you spent your Easter?

11.01.2022 I'm late posting this because it has absolutely been crazy in the lead upto Christmas this year. As I'm sure every tradie can tell you, Christmas is THE busiest time of the year, and this year it seems, was busier than any other year we've had and we wouldn't have it any other way. A big thanks to our guys for all their long hours and working hard to get us to the finishing line

11.01.2022 Consider using a mirror splashback to make your space feel bigger. It also adds an element of sophistication Would you like a mirror splashback in your home?

10.01.2022 For those home schooling, how accurate is this?

10.01.2022 HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING

10.01.2022 Dodgy tradies make me want to Scream (See what I did there?) There was a story on ACA that aired this week, where a lady used Airtasker to get work done. Sounds simple right? Nope. The handyman came to her house and did the job. No problems So she asked if he could hang up 2 picture frames and a shelf. Sure, no problem. They exchanged mobile numbers and organised it for another time. CUE ANOTHER TIME: The guy comes back and drills a hole in the wall, puncturing the main w...ater pipe. Her apartment FLOODS. He actually flees the scene!! And as for Airtasker? Because the second job wasn't booked via their app therefore the second job didn't happen on the company's watch = no insurance on the job. She is now approx. $15K out of pocket and left with a complete mess. Moral of the story? Do your research. If someone is a lot cheaper, you have every right to question it. Ask yourself: Why are they so much cheaper? Are they fully qualified? Are they insured? Is their licence current? Do they have a legit FB, Insta page or website? Do they have any reviews? It's situations like this that make us genuine tradies look bad #yougetwhatyoupayfor

09.01.2022 This year we decided to get a real Christmas tree! If this this is something you are considering doing then head to Razorback Christmas trees. The staff are helpful and friendly and you would also be supporting a local business. You can go along and pick out a tree, it gets tagged and then you pick it up in December. They can cut your tree for you or you can choose to cut your tree yourself. I'm so excited and can't wait to pick it early December and decorate it https://www.facebook.com/razorbackchristmastreefarm/

08.01.2022 Throw back to the time we did a fit out for a Sydney restaurant. Here is a shot of custom designed banquette seating we completed Yep, we do that too!

03.01.2022 Opps! #tradielife

03.01.2022 We celebrate Christmas tonight Yep, you read that right Our son gets to open his presents tonight too! Christmas in Poland is called Gwiazdka, meaning "little star." For Poles, Christmas Eve (Wigilia) (vee-GEEL-yah), literally means "vigil," or waiting for the birth of Baby Jesus. The food at dinner represents the four corners of the earth: mushrooms from the forest, grain from the fields, fruit from the orchards, and fish from the sea.... Dinner might consist of Barszcz (beetroot soup), Uszka (mushroom ravioli), Pierogi (Pasta dumplings filled with either cheese and potato or cabbage and mushroom) and fish dishes. (No meat). An additional setting at the table is set (because no one should be left alone at Christmas), so strangers and the homeless are welcomed to join in the holy supper. This derives from the times when Mary and Joseph were looking for shelter. After sunset, the youngest child is sent to watch for the first star. (Also known as the Star Supper). Only then can dinner begin, but not before "breaking of the oplatki", a very special tradition The Oplatek is a thin wafer similar to the altar bread in the Catholic Church. It's stamped with the figures of the Godchild, Mary, and the holy angels. The wafer is known as the bread of love and is often sent by mail to the absent members of the family. Instead of sending Christmas cards to friends and family not present, Poles send oplatki, first tearing off a small corner to show that the donor has broken it with them as a token of affection The eldest family member takes the wafer, breaks it and shares it with the next eldest with wishes for good health and prosperity, and a kiss on each cheek Each person then exchanges oplatek with everyone else at the table. An interesting detail is that we open our presents on Christmas Eve after supper. Depending on the region people believe that gifts are brought by Santa Claus or Baby Jesus. Shortly before midnight, the family gets ready to go to Midnight Mass and then return home for a snack and more celebration. Wesolych Swiat (Merry Christmas) from our family to yours

01.01.2022 We all like to keep our homes clean (and granted with the current situation its more important than ever) but be mindful of what you use. When trying to keep your home clean and safe from COVID-19, remember that mixing certain cleaning chemicals can actually be dangerous. Stay safe!

01.01.2022 Thinking of all the mums, mums to be, furmums, foster mums, and those without their mums, thinking of you today
