22.01.2022 Getting back to enjoying my happy place with this monkey. The washing is piling up and the house hold cleaning too but I don’t care. Would rather be out here while Missy is sleeping. #whichwouldyouchoose #happyplace #walkdone #5km #walk #beach #fitmumma #cleaningcanwait #mumlife

15.01.2022 gym session after over six months off, done! While I feel great and even better after going the anxiety while there is high. New gym, new people, new equipment, new setup.......I’m feeling like a fish out of water.... Remembering feeling like this when I first started lifting just how daunting it is. There was no way I was walking out so put the music on and looked at myself in the mirror to remember ‘my why’. #selfie #gymdone #mywhy #backtolifting #headphoneson #getitdone #feelinggood

15.01.2022 Already wanting to get back to training. was fours prior to when Ava came out, and I was sitting at 89.9kgs 1 week postpartum and sitting at 79.3kg... This week I have been walking every second day and eating all the foods I’ve missed out while pregnant. Hello #sushi, any meat in sight and the simple things #water Today, I’m writing my own training plan for now until the new year. I will be starting light, basic movements, will only consist of 3 weight sessions per week, walking when I can and pelvic floor exercises. Some people might say this is extreme getting back into it so soon, for me it’s not. After having 6mths off due to sickness with her for me it’s more than enough time off, I’m slowing back into it and I need it for my mental state. *plus the doc has given me the all clear Looks like I also need to get back onto the tan bandwagon. #white #mumlife #postpartumbody #gettingbackintofitness #fitnessjourney #trainingprogram #fitlife #fitmumma #1weekpostpartum #fitness #needsatan #readytogetfit

09.01.2022 Last Gym session for #2020 along with wise words. If you have a goal in mind for #2021. OWN IT, Be CONSISTENT.... Enjoy the festivities, I’m going home to have a roast, a beer and will probably see the New Years as Ava is a party girl. #done #gymsesh #backworkout #nye #lastgymseshoftheyear #pinkshoes #athletikan #derrimut247 #fitmum #strongwomen #gettingitdone #noexcuses #consistency #strongersociety #goals #partyhardy #pinkisanattitude

08.01.2022 Spent the afternoon with family and friends at house in Aldinga beach. No internet, no TV just good food, good company, a couple of drinks, beach cricket, dog pats and lots of laughs. #whatdidyoudo #happyeaster #aldingabeach #family #friends #fun #downtime #goodday #notech #live #laugh #love #wasagoodday #xo #relax #rest

07.01.2022 Meet Ava Mackenzie Molenaar Born 27/11/2021 @5:57pm Every bit of pregnancy pain was 200% worth creating you.... I’m so in love Ava is doing amazingly well. I’m going just as good, great labour, came on very quickly, looking forward to going home today and getting into a routine as soon as possible. This is the best I have felt in months. And Steve, well let’s say Ava made dad cry and has him ‘checking’ aka gazing at her every 5mins. Stay cool everyone xo @stevenmolenaar what a #ninemonths and emotional #24hours

05.01.2022 So much chocolate, so many hot cross buns It can be a hard time to stay on track so here are tips to help. Mindful eating - don’t avoid the treats eat the hot cross bun but only if you really want it. Not because everyone else or because you are bored. Eat it because you want to eat it and don’t over indulge, like eating the whole packet.... Savour it, enjoy it. Healthier option - yes, it can be done. We have so many different options out there now and it doesn’t have to be shaped like a egg or wrapped in pretty paper for you to enjoy yourself either or make your own hot cross buns. My go to is the coles no added sugar dark chocolate orange block. Yes, exercise - keeping up your routine will help you feel good. I know a lot of people go away so make sure you get a walk in or get outside and be active with the kids. Most importantly don’t feel guilty and enjoy your time who you decide to spend it with. #eastertime #eatthechocolate #stayactive #live #laugh #havefun #enjoythelongweekend #yougotthis #stayactive #onlinept #hotcrossbuns #toptips #easterbunnyiscoming

03.01.2022 This is how I feel today!!!! 3 years ago the health system failed not me but my son, I’ve been working hard trying to get people to listen, professional people and it’s been draining. I was prepared for the worst and yesterday I had a massive win.... Today, I keep looking back to see what I could have done differently and worse ‘what if’. Reminding myself, to just breathe and I can’t control the past but I have and can control the future for him. Before everyone asks, he’s going to be great now and all I’ll say, if you think it’s not right, fight for what you believe is right, don’t just roll over and let it be. #takingit #winning #justbreathe #strongereveryday #gotawin #doingwhaticanwhileican #workingitout

02.01.2022 Couldn’t have had a better day. Today Ava and I watched Xavier in his school sports day with his Nanna and Poppa. Due to COVID we were not allowed to interact with them, which I found hard. I am assuming it’s what it’s like watching your child play football.... Xavier is not the sporty or sociable type so it was great to see him get out there, try and most importantly enjoy himself. Also due to other school kids privacy this is the only photo I can share. Can you guess which colour Xavier was playing for? #schoolsportsday #funinthesun #fitmum #mummalife #wouldntwantitanyotherway #walkedtheoval #afewtimes #pt #myboy #onlinetrainer #lovinglife #mylittlegirl #mummaoftwo #strongereveryday

01.01.2022 This is my boy He means the world to me, he has a beautiful heart, had some struggles in his life and has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. (ASD) I’m sharing this so people are more aware as he has been labelled as a problem child previously without people knowing or understanding how different there life is.... ASD affects their development across all areas throughout their life, including social communication, restricted interests, behaviours and sensory processing differences. With this comes anxiety, depression and roller coaster of emotions. Throughout his life he has and will continue to have Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and physiology to help him with everyday life. People on the spectrum are unique and have their own strengths and difficulties. Along with positive reinforcement you can help them by - using clear and simple language - list daily events sequentially - give one instruction at a time - take the time to listen and communicate - give warning of changes or transitions - simplify the environment where possible And most importantly - have a quiet space for them where they feel comfortable. Son, l love you #autismawareness #myboy #autismacceptance #lovehim #autismawarenessmonth #asd #didyouknow #inclusivesociety
