Dachshund can be stubborn however they are loyal pets, due to their hunting instincts they can be active diggers and barkers 4. Health problems can include a susceptibility to spinal injuries due to the length of the spine, prone to dental decay, Cushing’s Disease, obesity can significantly increase the risk of medical and spinal issues 5. Famous celebrities who own Dachshunds include Clint Eastwood, Audrey Hepburn, John F Kennedy, David Hasselhoff, David Bowie and Pablo Picasso
