04.01.2022 Charles Perkins Centre, Musculoskeletal Research Hub, are seeking consumers and/or carers to provide feedback on an educational leaflet they developed to help older people with musculoskeletal conditions reduce their use of opioid medications. The study has received ethical approval and they are now recruiting. The study involves participants completing an online feedback survey, which should take approx. 20-30 minutes to complete. They are looking for 30 consumers/carers to ...provide feedback. Consumer will eligible for this study if they: are 65 years of age or older present with Lower back pain, or hip or knee OA are fluent in English have current internet access. Carers will be eligible for this study if they: care for someone who meets the above criteria for consumers and are not paid for their role as a carer. For the purpose of this study, unpaid carers will be defined as a person who provides unpaid assistance and support to a family member or friend to manage their medication and/or health conditions.
