25.01.2022 This looks fabulous for kids that have trouble with units and friends of 10

25.01.2022 A must watch! I found this hard to watch as some of you might... as parents of children with learning differences, we learn very early on that we need to be a strong advocate for their needs and never give up. Dyslexia comes with amazing intelligence and skill, we just have to help them access it. https://youtu.be/1LJkJrCxgLE

24.01.2022 Now this is cool!!!

24.01.2022 Another great resource for kids as they try to understand the consequences of COVID-19.

21.01.2022 Perfect Resource for children relating to the mass media on Corona Virus. Thanks for sharing Tutoring with a Difference and Nepean Speech and Occupational Therapy.

18.01.2022 Very good read! I have 3 children, 2 of which needed support with literacy and one that just naturally got it! This is something I’m very passionate about as my focus is on the kids that DON’T get it! They struggle everyday of their lives and feel like failures, despite having extremely high intelligence. This is why I trained to become one of these specialist support workers. No child should have to feel so low in their ability that they deem themselves worthless, yet I s...ee this every day in my role as an MSL therapist. These children tell me often how hard school is, how their learning needs effect their friendships, their ability get through each day and their hopes for the future. Teaching these children in particular, with an evidence based approach toward literacy (like MSL) means they can access their intelligence, thrive and have good outcomes....especially in the area of mental health! Isn’t that what we all want for kids, no matter what side of the coin we sit on in this debate....to support those that need it, whilst still making sure those that don’t are stimulated....but in all honesty, this type of literacy delivery is downright fun so all kids, despite learning differences, achieve https://www.smh.com.au//kids-in-the-crossfire-it-s-not-jus

15.01.2022 Once you’ve double clicked the fn button, click return to activate the type function. You do need to add punctuation prompts but it works really well!

14.01.2022 Oh my gosh! I love this!!!!!

10.01.2022 Today we practiced syllables! Jackson had to clap out the syllables he could hear in a word... jump and say each segment, then write it down. Energetic and fun!
