Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced further measures to control the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. These are:-... A ban on non-essential indoor gatherings of 100 or more people, to be enforced by state and territory governments and further measures to be developed For the first time ever, Australians have been advised not to travel anywhere overseas with a global travel ban in place, and Australian borders will be closed to international visitors from 9pm Friday 20 March 2020 Restricted access to aged care facilities Schools remain open In response to the virus, we have taken the following measures developed in alignment with global and local public health authorities (including the WHO). We will ask our clients entering our business, or prior to arranging an appointment if they have recently returned from overseas. Clients that find themselves in this situation will be asked to not attend our office and or inspection/ appointment for 14 days. We have increased the frequency of cleaning our office spaces (including door handles, telephones & reception area) as well as increased deployment of antibacterial hand sanitiser. We have qualified that none of our team members have recently returned from overseas, and therefore currently do not require any measure of isolation, and have had one instance whereby a staff member required testing for COVID-19 and a forced 48 hour self-isolation period, with results coming back negative. We are remaining abreast of the dynamic changes in advice in regards to restrictions & regulations including social distancing, restrictions of crowds gathering, and the potential of school closures. We are confident that if we continue to work embracing the above measures, we can minimise the harm caused and continue to provide great service & excellent outcomes.
