24.01.2022 This week Burt . H .brought his 66 mustang in for a custom soft top . It was the finishing touch to a great build mostly done in the shed at home at Burts house . The soft top was100% made in house by M.S.Muir .

21.01.2022 A full set of HR holden seats were retrimmed this week . I used the original two tone vynil with the original style welded pleats to look as factory as possible . The customer was super happy with the outcome .

19.01.2022 This week sees the end of the EH sedan project . I nice conservative finished in the maroon and grey vynil with the customer wanting to keep the original feel of the car .

16.01.2022 Mr Bean your car is ready for pickup . The Austin big 7 is now complete . Manilla Hide with an imposed Cybil hooding for the USA. Super happy with the look and outcome . Very much to the vintage of this old classic .

16.01.2022 Here is a sneak peak at our latest project due to be complete by end of the month .The first pic shows a complete moulded door card with original stainless strip inserts . The following pics are of the fabrication which has all been done in the shop . We were only given a front seat frame for this job . Everything has been made from scratch . The back seat was hand built . Big job but we love it .Big shout out to Rides custom shop lismore and Carl Mills Stainless Repairs for working with us on this project . Will post the completed vehicle soon....... not telling what it is yet

11.01.2022 I have been trimming alot of race bikes lately from all different age classes . This is Paul's early 1980,s Kawasaki 1000. Alot of time and patience gone into this build to make a beautiful example of a race bike .

10.01.2022 Everyone likes a 1976 to 1980 Ducati supersport . They look awesome and are worth big bucks . I have been doing these original type seat cowels for years, but not often do you 5 at once and definately not usually for the same customer .

08.01.2022 One of my customers buys this $1100 plus freight, Harley Davidson seat from the USA. It's an Air ride fully pneumatic adjustable top of the range long range seat . Its annoys me that people pay huge money for these seats from HD and then bring them to me to make more comfortable .Dont get me wrong , I appreciate the work but you would expect them to be comfortable straight out of the box .

08.01.2022 This weeks project is an original look1948 FX Holden . Ruby ingleston leather with Maroon premier carpet . To finish it of we got cashmere felt headliner with woven blood red windlace and ruby red acrylic hydem binding . Will post photos once complete . Dont forget the Ballina car show this sunday from 9 am at the footy fields

08.01.2022 The F800 Gs adventure bike is an awesome machine . Even nicer to ride now with an M.S.Muir comfort seat . A dual density foam with carbon cover . A must have for all long range tourers.

08.01.2022 Maroochydore Bunnings carpark has a pretty nice display of cars tonight . Mostly Jap but a few old favourites from Holden and Ford and Chrysler .

05.01.2022 Here is a couple of shots of the Yamaha MT 09 seat we built for Brett. I decided to put some colour into the seams to Tye in with the exhaust just to enhance the stitch line .

03.01.2022 This is an 80 series landcruiser dash pad that I retrimmed for Jason . Had to be filled , sanded, foamed, handsanded then prepped and finally ,recovered . Takes alot of effort to get these dash peices right . The end result looks great .

Featured on the front cover of the latest issue of "Cruzin" magazine. Big shout to all the Lismore guys involved ... Andrew McDougal @Rides Custom Shop for the amazing paint and panel Carl Mills@ Carl Mills stainless Steel Repairs for all the stainless trim ,badges and shiny bits . Big Shout out to Tom and Chris Oliver for taking the car to all of the various car shows where they have picked up a swag of trophies in all different catagories . Keep an eye out for this 55 Chev when your out and about at the next car / hot rod show .

01.01.2022 One of Yamaha's MT09 . This thing is far from stock and a hell of a lot of fun to ride . Time to build a custom seat which will not only looks like its part of the bike but is comfortable as well . Stay tuned for completed photos in a week or two .

01.01.2022 Hi Everyone . Thanks to those people that offered their time and resources to come help clean up after the flooding over the weekend . We are so grateful that the flood water didnt get into our shop . Others in the street not so lucky and it will take time for them to get up and running again . We are now open and back in full swing now the power has been returned and it is business as usual. If anyone in Lismore needs a shed the work from or needs help to get going again ,whether it be tools or compressors and the like or just some manpower, please, we would be more than happy to help .
