17.01.2022 Now that we have your attention! As NSW schools returned to physical F2F in Week 5, our students can begin their return to lessons in the centre, from Week 7 and Week 8. Those who wish to continue the Virtual F2F tutoring may do so also ... We hope you can understand that these decisions are not made easily, are based on advice from the Australian Tutoring Association, and with everyone’s best interests at heart Ms. Penny will be in touch with every single family to let them know, when their child can return, or to find out if they wish to continue with their online learning. Regards, Penny And Kabuki

17.01.2022 And we are back!!!!

16.01.2022 Welcome back to Term 2 2020! We’re still here, to support you child with their learning, and still aspiring to make a difference

15.01.2022 MORE UPDATES: Term 2, Week 3 will see N.S.W. students back in classrooms for at least one day per week, working up to a full week by the end of Term 2 and for the start of Term 3. Tutoring centres are still being advised to work with students virtually, until there is a full return to school for all students.... We will make every endeavour to support the families that are able to continue their child’s education with us until then. We will also, welcome back all students who return to Face 2 Face learning support with us, when that time comes. #aspiringtomakeadifference

15.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE Today the State is proposing a gradual return to the classroom and Face 2 Face teaching, using a roster system, from Term 2, Week 3 What does this mean for our clients?... Well, its never too clear. As most small and local centres, like myself are run by teachers. We look to the Education sector for guidance, yet at the same time, we are a small business, and must operate as such. Most of us, have ceased Face 2 Face teaching and learning for the time being, and will more than likely be required to do so, in Term 2, or in the very least the first half of Term 2. The Australian Tutoring Association is advising all centres to only provide online learning or virtual lessons (both are quite different). It’s important for the public to note that, while virtual learning is occurring, and even though we are in a time where students are needing teacher support most... the majority of families can not afford this type of discretionary spending, even though they may see it as VALUABLE. The Australian Tutoring Association, yesterday reported a 70% decrease in tutoring centres overall, Australia and the UK inclusive. Our little centre too has taken a hit well above the 60% mark. Right now, everybody is struggling. Everybody needs to focus on keeping safe. Yet, when it’s all over, I’m calling on each and everyone of you to choose legitimate, accredited, locally owned centres (franchise or independent like myself), for your child’s tutoring. Small business is the back bone of every community. It’s not just about the spending, but we employ local too. https://apple.news/Aaq4KhC3eRuq6-HxYl_hL4A

12.01.2022 Education is not preparation for Life. Education is Life itself...

09.01.2022 Those who understand learning well will thrive, but a lot of businesses will not continue," said Mr Dhall, CEO of the Australian Tutoring Association And we are chugging along! Thanks to your support! Yes the number of those opting to switch to virtual face to face lessons, as opposed to physical face 2 face was less. Yet the confidence of our existing clients was so great, that they have committed to joining us again when we get the go ahead to open our physical learni...ng hub. In saying that, we have students that are surprised by how well we are delivering our lessons via ZOOM, that they’d like to keep their lessons going that way, and just this past week, we’ve had 2 new ‘virtual face 2 face’ sign ups - through referral!!! Many thanks for the support from the ATA in offering their advice and directing us to other learning and support services available. This whole period of lockdown has been a time of learning, meetings, professional coaching, sourcing new systems, so that we can come back with a top notch quality, boutique style learning centre. #professional #modern #personable Aspiring to make a difference
