07.01.2022 **UPDATE 12 APRIL** Thanks everyone for sharing. Matraville Vet will keep this gorgeous rabbit (not microchipped) for a few days and then will contact Council. ...Council generally delivers lost pets to Sydney Cats and Dogs Home at Carlton. Thankfully they have a no-kill policy and will take care of bunny until it can be rehomed. The vet said it's clearly been well looked after, had likely been out and about for a short time, and suggested it was used to being handled...and hence the snuggling in and resistance to being put down. It would make a lovely family pet for someone prepared to take on the responsibility. Fingers crossed for a happy ending. ****** Has anyone lost this lovely, very friendly, white and brown rabbit? Found this afternoon at the southern end of St Michael's Golf Course. It seems healthy but terrified. I brought it home to Gubbuteh Road, Prince Henry. He or she snuggled in like a baby - just gorgeous As we have a dog and a cat we're unable to keep it safely, so will be taking it to Matraville Vet later this evening.
