"Proud is an understatement when you have so many riders come and say thank you, this wouldn’t happen without the awesome crew that give up their day to stand on corners, manage registration, drive a car or sag wagon, put out and pick up signage and stand in feedzones, all these roles and responsibilities that make the event the success t...hat it is. 06.01.2022 Due to the changing situation in Victoria as a result of the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the 2020 Baw Baw Classic has been cancelled. The Warragul Cycling Club looks forward to celebrating the event's 20th anniversary in 2021. "The club has made the difficult decision to cancel our plans for the 2020 Baw Baw Classic. We are especially disappointed because this year would have been the race's 20th edition, said Warragul Cycling Club President and Race Director Karin Jones.... We have made this decision because of the uncertainty around when competition can resume in Victoria and the event’s reliance on sponsorship." The event will have a new date in 2021 to be announced at a later time.
