21.01.2022 We are in a select group it seems. The Pink Roadhouse should be there. A longer walk, but still walking distance

19.01.2022 TRACK SIGNS AT HAMILTON STATION INTERSECTION There has been some confusion regarding the intersection at Hamilton Station. The signage (below) can be a bit confusing. The Pedirka track, to the right, is the most direct route to Dalhousie Springs but it is not the best maintained. The main road, to the left, which is maintained by SA Roads (and recently graded) takes you via the beautiful Eringa Waterhole (unfortunately dry at the moment) and Bloods Creek ruins and then onto Dalhousie Springs. It is only a short detour from Bloods Ck to Mt Dare on graded road where you can recharge, refuel and head on to Dalhousie and the Simpson Desert. If you are pulling a caravan, it could be wise to leave the van at Mt Dare and day trip to the hot springs.
