25.01.2022 I miss you guys I'm not sure what's in store for our events other than saying 2021 is the new 2020. In the meantime I can do another high tea (with restrictions) and was thinking of doing a prince & princess theme. It's times like this that whacking a tiara on and drinking tea from a fancy cup is just whats needed. I'll provide the fancy theme, you provide the fancy clothes and tiara and lets do this. Anyone interested?

23.01.2022 Tonight would have been Night 3, my nerves would definitely have settled and I'd probably be annoying people by now, for sure :D. Here's a photo of the majority of the extraordinary team. What a motley crew, some scout youth members & leaders, some professional actors and some family members. All who volunteer their time to help make this event so damn good. Don't forget my long suffering husband Odin/Hagrid/Snape. He does so much behind the scenes, I get a great idea and then look to him to build the stuff I can't. He made all the table tops which really help bring an authentic look to the Great Hall...

23.01.2022 I should be walking up to the Lodge to get ready for our event, this would have been what I was looking at. Enchanted Dinner during the daylight hours.

22.01.2022 Tonight would have been Night one, opening night. I would have been running around making no sense, a belly full of butterflies and stress. My amazing team of volunteers would be turning the candles on and double checking that everything is working and ready for our guests to arrive. I am completely useless to anyone on opening night so I'm so grateful that I have surrounded myself with some outstanding people who know me better than I know myself. I'll share with you the Promotional video from 2018.

21.01.2022 Professor Sprout (Lynne Cole) & Professor Trelawney (Joy Atkinson). Both of these women have been a huge part of this event since the beginning, we have so much fun together that I thought I should give Sprout her own classroom, this photo is from last year.

19.01.2022 Hello hello. I should be freaking about and getting the last minute stuff done for the enchanted dinners but........I'm not On a good note, I'm 90% sorted for next year so that'll be awesome. Mid May to mid June 2021, dates are booked and tickets will be on sale at the end of the year.

19.01.2022 This reminder just popped up, I couldn't bring myself to dismiss it.

18.01.2022 Night 2 would be upon us, Rob and Al from JAFFA would be working their magic in the Kitchen, my bestie Jacque would be calming me down and taking care of just about everything behind the scenes, particularly making sure that all the meals are out nice and hot and to the correct seats. I'd be making a fool of myself at the front of the room. Cliff would be scaring the crap out of everyone and the atmosphere would be electric. We have been so lucky and Puzzleman Productions have done our promo videos, for nothing, nada..that's no cost and I am very very appreciative of that fact, Thanks Craig :) This is the 2019 promo.

16.01.2022 We had a special guest, Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban and joined us for a few nights. It's not really Sirius Black but his name is Matthew and he has given up so much of his time over the past two seasons of the Enchanted Dinners. I'm he would have been here again this year but, you know......we can hopefully see him for the 2021 season.

15.01.2022 This would have been our final weekend, I have noticed that the weather has been beaut for each weekend, this didn't help :( It is no secret that this event wouldn't be as good without the volunteers who play the parts of both Voldemort and Dumbledore. 11.01.2022 Hi all. The decision has been made to cancel the Enchanted Dinner for 2020, we just can't comply with the current guidelines as they are now and things are changing on a daily basis. I did book alternative dates but to be honest, it wouldn't have been the same and if we can't put on a top quality event, then it's better to come back next year bigger and better. Personally, I love the Enchanted Dinner events, everyone gets involved and adults as well as children get into th...e spirit of the event and help create what feels like a magical experience. I have already started processing the refunds and you will receive an email from trybooking letting you know when it has been done, Trybooking is a 3rd party who hold the money but I think it would only be a day or two before you see it back in your bank account. I am still hopeful that our Game of Thrones event can still go ahead in August, keep an eye on this page if you are interested in that one, I'll keep you all updated. I'm so sorry about the Enchanted Dinner but I promise next year will be fantastic, I'm working on a way to give everyone who bought tickets this year to get a pre sale next year.

09.01.2022 I've been feeling a little lost, the Enchanted Dinners are cancelled and I'm almost certain we won't be having our Game of Thrones fundraiser either. 2021 dates have been booked though and I'll share a save the date post later, I'm planning on doing a few smaller (15-20 ppl) murder mystery dinners as well, I did a trial run with the leaders of 1st Albion Park Scout Group which went very well. How are you all holding up?

02.01.2022 Tonight would have been opening night, I'd be up at the Lodge now freaking out about absolutely everything and you would all be getting yourselves ready to come along. None of this is now happening but I am going to schedule a post each night around so we can all reminisce together. If you haven't yet been to an Enchanted Dinner, you'll get an idea of what they are like. Keep an eye out for the opening night post at 5.30 tonight.
