15.01.2022 We are returning to training this Monday night. There will still be some restrictions in place. We will be planning how we go forward with our training. We are working on a way to attend by video for those who wish to attend that way.

13.01.2022 **Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are no longer required on scene at this incident.** Bracewell (near Mount Larcom) - bushfire as at 5.25pm,... Thu 15 Oct Multiple Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews remain on scene at a bushfire burning between Lucke Road and Dunnetts Road, Bracewell near Mount Larcom. The fire is contained and burning within containment lines and is posing no threat to property at this time. Fire crews will continue to work through the night to strengthen containment lines. Nearby residents may be affected by a smoke haze throughout the day. Residents are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If residents are concerned their property is under threat, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.



13.01.2022 TAMS is our focus this week. There will be a review of the procedures followed by a practical exercise. While the current operators will have a run through it will also be of use for our future operators to be introduced to TAMS. Tams stands for Task and Management System which is the system used to manage all calls for assistance no matter the size. 10.01.2022 TAMS 2 training was conducted at Mt Larcom with participants from Mt Larcom and Calliope groups. The upgraded TAMS was well received. Training to come for the rest of the Unit.

04.01.2022 Today two of our members participated in under 8’s day at Ambrose school. This included Ambrose, Mt Larcom and Yarwin schools. Mt Larcom SES were there along side with QAS, QPS and QRFS from Mt Larcom.
