07.01.2022 Camp Tamborine working bee - can you help? Dear Friends, Many people are asking if they can help with recommissioning of Camp Tamborine. The MTC team are planning a ‘working bee’ from the 12th to 20th of December and your help would be welcomed.... Cleaning, gardening, painting, general handy-man services will very quickly make Camp Tamborine sparkle. Maybe your talent is cooking, could you make morning and afternoon teas? If you can help in any way, please call the office on 07 5545 1419 or register via [email protected] If you would like to help, Panorama Homestead and the Camp Ground will be available at no charge, all we ask is that you self-cater and let us know when you are coming. To date, gifts and funds raised are $558,000 with $192,000 still needed to acquire the property debt free. We are blessed to have the offer of an interest free short-term loan. MTC and the surrounding Keswick Road precinct have served the people of South East Queensland in countless ways over a long history. We believe it is vital that the Evangelical Christian integrity of the precinct is maintained and that a coh...erent group of organisations retain ownership of the precinct. To date, just over $500,000 of the $750,000 needed to acquire the property has been raised. This has been a wonderful response from the faithful. As settlement approaches on Monday 30th November, a good friend of the Convention and Christian Statesmen has offered a short-term interest free loan to enable the property to stay in Christian hands and not be placed on the open market, which means this is going to happen!
