22.01.2022 It was great to see Hon David Pisoni MP, Minister for Innovation and Skills, stop by the MTA at the Careers and Employment Expo. The Minister spoke to 4th Year Light Vehicle Apprentice, Braden Bosustow, about his training and his host, MTA Member AMPL Auto. The Minister also had an opportunity to discuss how our 450+ apprentices are progressing and is looking forward to celebrating our upcoming graduation ceremony, where we will celebrate almost 200 automotive graduates for 2...020/21. Thanks to AMPL Auto for supplying their track Mustang for display at the expo, where we also had our VR painting and MTA Field Officers to take school students through automotive career pathways.

09.01.2022 SA COVID-19 LOCKDOWN UPDATE We have had further clarification from the government as to which vehicle repair and mechanical services businesses may operate in South Australia through the current 6 day lockdown. Vehicle repair and mechanical services may operate but only to the extent necessary to facilitate other essential work.... For example - if a freight truck breaks down it can be serviced. But discretionary servicing like wheel alignments etc should wait 6 days. To put this lockdown into perspective neither exercise nor funerals are allowed during this period.
