24.01.2022 I would like to commend the premier of Victoria for his efforts yesterday. Mr Andrews and some of his friends not only closed down a cafe in Gippsland but also ...managed to place the cbd under siege for 6 hours. Though many citizens going about their daily business were left wondering why this has happened, Mr Andrews is yet to announce what this means for his budget surplus, 39 people were arrested for their roles in this- thats a whopping $39 for the state of Victoria. Aided by extreme activists, Mr Andrews and his militant ministers have been working tirelessly to reshape our democratic society. The failure to protect and support our local industries and businesses has proved to be unrepentant amidst the desperation and concerns held by rural Victoria for sometime now. Trespass, theft, intimidation and deliberate disruption of legal business activities have long been the order of the day for our unions and it is no surprise that this is now the business model for running our state. As murky as this all sounds though this tyranny does hold value for investment back into the Gippsland community with a recent spend of tax payer money on our new advertising slogan...Gipps:all kind of wonder:Land...I am left to wonder what kind of future lies ahead for us. They have crippled local industries including timber, electricity, farming and small business that incorporates tourism. Our local industries deserve a break and warrant government support, they have endured drought, floods and fire only to plagued by green coloured criminals that had government support, I say had government support because after yesterdays fiasco, it is almost certain to bring scrutiny of the relationships between our politicians and the left wing. Though I can accept that it is possible for an individual to exist without eating meat- it is not possible for our democracy to exist without freedom of choice and the combination of extremism and a foolish government can only serve to represent a threat to our rights and freedom of choice. The Andrews government was so desperate to feather its own nest and now faces the reality of its alliances crapping in the nest...it was easy to duck and weave Gippsland when you had the city to hide in Dan....where to now? #indiebawbaw #danandrews #alixthecriminal See more

22.01.2022 Getting really hard to deny that there are increasingly occurring problems with visitor access at Mt Baw Baw. Whether or not you think "its the numb nuts that c...an't drive" or "it was a blizzard", or "there were trees down" ....these are problems that have existed long before now and it may just be that they were handled more efficiently, and that old chestnut, "they are doing their best" is simply not an acceptable resolve when "their best" is at the expense of someone that was able to do it better! 13.01.2022 You gotta laugh. My Dad ran a popular bar/cafe up at Mt Baw Baw for years called Kellys. The place rocked! The government run management decided they wanted the... business because its on leased land and well it seems they can just take it. Well they did throw him a bit of money for the oven and stuff to their credit!(bless them) They had a vision damn it! They were going to take it to the next level. Their marketing team got together with world class chefs and after two years of of creative planning they have now launched the new Kellys -version 2..... See more

02.01.2022 Could this be a new snow clearing truck heading to Mt Baw Baw? More positive signs of change at the resort...Never mind it’s August! A big tick also this wee...k for fitting chains from chain bay 2, this takes a lot of pressure off the road and resort entry. The next step might be to initiate a traffic management plan for chain bay 2 enabling the staffing of it during busy periods...this may also result in fewer front wheel drive vehicles with chains fitted, becoming stuck on wet bitumen at Winch Corner, one of many contributing factors to the unnecessary congestion on the resort road. Keep up the good work See more

01.01.2022 Kellys at Mt Baw Baw this weekend will have Sam Griffiths playing live music from 8-11pm Saturday Night! Come join the fun on the mountain for the opening weekend of the season!

01.01.2022 Onwards and upwards Mt Baw Baw, ideally 77 days out from snow season is not the time to be appointing a new general manager but it is consistent with the transi...ent nature of management at Mt Baw Baw. I remain optimistic that the board and CEO can put any insecurities aside and give real consideration to applicants that already have experience in operations at Mt Baw Baw. We have seen interim CEO s before and an interim GM would be a realistic option in this instance. There is some good support available to the successful applicant by way of experienced staff who will ensure the day to day operations remain serviceable, but it is ludicrous to think that a GM with little experience at Mt Baw Baw could gain an understanding and provide the type of management that is required in the short time frame to snow season.
