24.01.2022 I lost count but it was somewhere near 110 kids that packed the 'Back 9' of the Quarry Hill Golf course for tonights Summer of Racing.. Dirt Squirts were treated to some single track fun that did require a little pushed up the start hill for a few but there were smiles all round when the word 'icy poles' came out Juniors D-A had to bring their climbing legs but everyone did an awesome job with most finishing within minutes of each other. We return to Spring Gully on Decem...ber 8th.. Keep an eye on facebook for updates. Thanks again to our parent helpers. See more

22.01.2022 City of Greater Bendigo elections are coming up next month and while Donald is telling Americans to vote twice we only get to vote once - so we need to make it count. Here are a few questions to ask the candidates in your area. - Where do you stand on the proposed Master Plan for the development of mountain bike trails in Spring Gully? - Do you understand what the plan means for community wellbeing, environmental sustainability and tourism? - Will you actively support the plan if elected? There are a lot of important issues but having an idea of where candidates stand in relation to Mountain Biking is important too.

22.01.2022 Great to see so many kids out on their bikes learning new skills and having fun on the trails. Trailhead Coaching Term 4 programs are live for booking now!

21.01.2022 A good show of all the pinks today. I think even these flowers were smiling in today’s sunshine #springtakeover

21.01.2022 Junior Summer of Racing Reminder... You have until Midnight Sunday night to register ONLINE for the Racing. --- Dont Miss Out..

20.01.2022 A great quote from Dinny Muldoon in this month's City of Greater Bendigo Magazine. "Muldoon Reserve is named after my family and it’s been marvellous to see the land transformed into the little pump track. It gets so much use! The kids absolutely love it and it’s great to see them outdoors and playing, rather than inside watching the telly."

20.01.2022 Thanks to our lovely Spring Gully neighbour letting us know our notice box was broken, This has now been fixed... Thanks to Dan's announcement today keep an eye out on news of our upcoming Junior Summer of Racing.

20.01.2022 Great to see Trailhead Coaching up and running again with the easing of restrictions, these programs seem to be going from strength to strength!

19.01.2022 Some very disturbing photos have been sent to our club. It's never ok to cut down vegetation next to trails so you can go faster in a straight line. If you can't turn your bike or don't know how to corner get a lesson or stick to the bike paths around town and stay out of the bush! Our club is working hard to build a relationship with Parks Victoria and this environmental vandalism does no one any favours.

18.01.2022 2Wheel Academy #skillssession #3 saw us refining smooth gear changes to maintain optimum acceleration and overall efficiency on the bike. Big thanks to our guest coaches today Murray Stephens, Carrie Edney and Daan van Dorenmalen. Having 5 skilled coaches on board allowed us to work with smaller groups and provide valuable individual feedback to our riders. 18.01.2022 The nasty bog on the Community Loop is no more thanks to our trusty band of volunteers.

17.01.2022 Yay for #levelpedals, I think I’ll be saying this in my sleep tonight! Getting kids up off their seats and evenly distributing their weight on the bike results ...in instant confidence and ability to ride more challenging terrain. Thanks again to @isaac.fletch for the quality mentoring. #positioniseverything #liveyourlifeoffroad #welovemtb @mtb_bendigo @bendigocycles @iamspecialized_mtb @pmbiassociation See more

16.01.2022 What has been your experience of climate change as a mountain bike rider? Does it mean you choose to ride at specific times of the day due to heat in summer? Do you make sure you’re at up the front on group rides so you don’t eat everyone’s dust in summer? We as a club and MTB community sure are enjoying the amazing Spring out there in our forests. It seems like many dry years in the past have prevented such a prolific show. Who knows when we will get another Spring such as... this? Monash Uni are publishing Australia's first climate column in community newspapers across Australia, where they will discuss local climate trends and break down the science of climate change. In their columns, they hope to feature a range of community voices who talk about their experience of climate change and what it means for them. If you can spare 5 minutes to help them out, hit the survey link below to share your experience. https://bit.ly/clim8survey
