18.01.2022 #Repost @thegolfinggreenkeeper (@get_repost) Quite possibly one of the biggest surprises I have ever experienced by a golf course! This my friends is Mount Broughton Golf Club located in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Now this place is not the most perfectly conditioned and doesn't really have awe inspiring course architecture, but for me it just worked! It's the blend of the beautiful countryside panorama wallpaper that sits on the outside of the fences and the extremel...y long wasteland grass that WILL eat your ball if you venture too wide as it flows and flaps like a softly lapping lake in the cool breeze. It's the quaint country manor style clubhouse and European golf feel of this photo that I just keep looking at and remembering my experience! This is looking down the 18th fairway and it was just awesome!! And it's one hell of a golf course too I might add that measures over 6600m from the black tees! Designed by Frank Phillips and Billy Dunk this country track really does need more exposure!
