24.01.2022 WOW. What a week. Gradings, Excellence award and a visit from Santa. To those who completed their gradings, you all smashed it. Congratulations to Kate on receiving the Excellence Award for November and a big congratulations to our new Dai Sempai Lachlan and Sempai Molly and Matilda. Your hard work had paid off. We are all so proud of your determination.

19.01.2022 SOME IMPORTANT NEWS. We are hoping to restart our training in term 3, pending shire approval . But there will be changes. ... 1- We will be limited to 20 people per class. Unfortunately, this means that Parents and families will not be able to stay in the hall, but can wait outside. 2- we will only be training on Wednesday nights to start. So this means students will have to book in each month or if casual payer, each night. If you have booked a night and don't attend, you still need to pay, as others miss out. New training times as follows. 5.30pm till 6pm , little karate people aged 4 years to 7 years 6pm till 7pm 7 years to 14 years 7.15pm till 8.30pm 14 years and up. 3- Every one will need to bring their own water bottle and towel, if required. No cups will be provided. 4 - Hand hygiene must be preformed on entering the hall. Please remember to keep your belongings 1.5 meters apart from others. You must have your own hand mits/gloves. No hugging or hand shaking please. Traditional karate bows preferred. Please share this with all your karate family and friends. 15.01.2022 Well. It's finally happening. Training starts on Wednesday 11th November, 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Bellbird Park off Swansea Rd, next to lilydale Lake. Intermediates and seniors $10 pp. Gi pants and runners, no belt required . Bookings essential. Out door training only for the rest of this year.

11.01.2022 Mt Evelyn Martial Arts has been running for 40 years. So to celebrate we are having a formal dinner for past and present students and their families. Only a few tickets left. We would also like to congratulate Molly and Matilda for being the first students to complete Kyoshi challenge and receive their silver stars. What a great achievement on our 40th year. Go girls

10.01.2022 Currently, we have training session on Wednesday nights at Bellbird Park next to lilydale Lake. These sessions are open to intermediate and senior students. 6.30pm till 7.30pm $10pp. If you are interested, please reply on the event page or send me a text.
