The IGA carpark proceeds from the day will be donated to Melba to help them continue the great work they do in our community

17.01.2022 Hi Party-Goers. We have ANOTHER UPDATE about the FREE Shuttle Bus Service. As you know, we've done our best to get you some parking at Mt Evelyn Primary, Birmingham Primary and York on Lilydale. Here's what you need to know. THE YORK ON LILYDALE SHUTTLE BUS will do its first departure at 10am. This means those using this service will miss the beginning of the Street Party PARADE on Wray Cres But it's not all bad news. Because the classic cars that will be in the parade wil...l actually be departing from York on Lilydale. So you can see them lined up in all their awesomeness while waiting for the bus Thanks for your understanding. And thanks to York On Lilydale for being such a fantastic supporter of the #mtevelynstreetparty NOTE that buses from Birmingham PS and Mt Evelyn PS will be ready for party-goers from 9:30 am. It will be worth your while to get to one of these bus stops before 9:30 am if you want a good spot to watch the parade. Look out for these Bus Stop signs at all locations

Thanks Chris for hosting your third Street Party and Harry - Mr Mt Evelyn 2015- for hosting your first Street Party. You were a fantastic team and kept the day rockin and rolling, prompting all of the activities happening around the site , the performers on all three stages, as well as thanking all of our sponsors throughout the day . Grab your calendars and block out this weekend in 2021, we would to have you both back as our hosts with the most! 07.01.2022 It's TOMORROW!!! There is still so much we could tell you about the wonderful day you will have and all the fabulous things you can expect. But there are just not enough hours left and we have things we still need to do! So here's a few final words and we'll try to keep it brief. We ask that you take heaps of photos and if posting please use the hashtag #mtevelynstreetparty SAFETY FIRST! If it's sunny lol wear sunscreen and a hat. If your thirsty please drink from our Hydrati...on Stations with your own keep cups. Parents keep an eye on your kids as we're sure they will be blinded by all the activities we have for them. Ask one of our volunteers if you need a hand (they'll be in black Tshirts) or go to our lovely Jo at the Community Link Building and she will assist with any queries. PLEASE DON'T LITTER. Use bins provided. And if you see litter maybe you could pop it in a bin for us. Someone might see you and give you a big pat on the back for being so awesome. KINDNESS! Ask someone to dance. Offer a hand if you see someone needs it. Laugh together. Sing together. It's all about Community Love. DRESS UP! Vintage, pinup, rockabilly, retro, your favourite outfit.... whatever makes you feel fantastic and will tell all the other party-goers YOU HAVE ARRIVED! See you tomorrow everyone!
