25.01.2022 Some lovely feedback from Saturday Sirromet Cold Chisel Concert : Hi, could you please pass on massive thank-you to your staff on the Brisbane Ann Street CBD run. The trip both to the venue and return was well organised by all staff. Despite having to endure the terrible weather they also had to put up with drunk, aggressive and down right rude patrons and they remained unbelievably polite and professional. Please also thank the drivers for getting us home safely because it was crap conditions for them to navigate in. Kindest regards L & M

22.01.2022 Say G’Day to Coen’s longtime driver Gary. Gary knew Coen’s namesake, Coen Ashton, after meeting him through a Cystic Fibrosis Support Group and kept in contact throughout the years. . . . He has worked with us at Mt Gravatt Coach & Travel for 7 and a half years now, and has driven school runs, charters, and even our route services. Nowadays you can find Gary on the 8003 school run to Seton College where he loves to have a chat and look after the students. Des was named after Mt Gravatt Coach & Travel's onsite caretaker who, after a number of years of keeping our bus depot in tip-top condition, moved down to Melbourne to be closer to his family. 12.01.2022 Today we get to meet Coen, who is one of our largest coaches with an impressive 75 seats! He completes the 8003 school run to Seton College, Mansfield State School, and Citipointe College. . . . Coen is named after Coen Ashton, a brave 15 year old with a big heart who underwent a Double Lung Transplant. Coen’s efforts in his work to raise awareness about Organ Donation has not gone unnoticed after being nominated in the 2011 Pride of Australia, he not only won Child of Cou...rage Queensland, but also took out the National Child of Courage and the People’s Choice award, becoming the first person to win all three. Having been the first bus company to supply Redeemer Lutheran College with transportation services back in the 1980s, a formal agreement for Mt Gravatt Coach & Travel to become the sole transport provider to Redeemer Lutheran College was signed in 2018. This agreement included the purchase of a brand new Scania A30 which has been fully wrapped in Redeemer Lutheran College livery and aptly named "Bluey".

Graeme McCulloch was first employed with Mt Gravatt way back in October 1990 and, retiring in July last year, was recognised for his exceptional professionalism. . . . Dr Kirby is a former Australian carpenter whom at the age of 40, decided on a radical career change to help combat the high rate of maternal mortality in Papua New Guinea. He graduated with his MBBS from the University of Papua New Guinea in 2002 at age 52 and went on to establish the not-for-profit organisation The Hands of Rescue (THOR), which focuses on attaining safe motherhood for women in PNG.

Jenny first started her driving career with us in our little 24 seater Mitsy before moving up to our larger coaches and lowfloor buses.
