25.01.2022 Weve got a fresh new look and we want brand new ideas to go with it! Put it in your diaries and come talk all things community - from small businesses, to streetscapes and events with members from The Hub next week! Wed love to hear how we can make Mount Hawthorn an even better place for you to live, work and play
25.01.2022 The annual Carols in Braithwaite Park is back this Sunday! Pack your blanket & picnic basket, and come join us as we watch the Mt Hawthorn Primary School choir perform from 6:30 Don’t forget gold coins so you can get yourself a candle & carol booklet too. So what do you say Mt Hawthorn, will we see you there?
25.01.2022 Were searching for illustration inspiration! The Hub is currently working with Modular Studio to update our brand and were looking for examples of your childs art (can be paintings, drawings, crafts etc.) to take inspiration from. We want to see art of people, pets, places and things. If the art depicts Mount Hawthorn residents or locations, even better! If youre willing to get involved, please share a pic of your childs art in the comments below or send us a direct message! Please note, we wont be using any of your childs art directly - this call out is for inspiration purposes only unless we reach out to you individually to discuss that option
25.01.2022 Have you met Chiara? Shes the friendly face behind @_solisboutique_ After driving past the empty shop front on Green Street a handful of times, she knew what she had to do. Fuelled by a love of fashion and with 20 years of industry experience under her belt, she opened for business just over a year ago. Solis Boutique offers something different - there is a strong focus on local designers and a range of items to suit any age or budget. When we popped in to catch up with Chiara we couldnt resist picking up a few items for ourselves! Make sure you call in and say hello next time youre passing by.

24.01.2022 @_solisboutique_ loves local just as much as we do! Owner, Chiara carefully selects brands from WA and the East Coast, and has a soft spot for smaller start-ups that are looking to get their foot in the door. When you choose to shop small at local businesses like @_solisboutique_ you are also choosing to support the individuals and families behind the brands they stock, their wholesale agents, manufacturers and designers too. It really does have the best knock on effect!
