23.01.2022 We remember and acknowledge Tim Fischer AC, (Former Patron of Frontier Services) for his commitment to those in Remote Australia. In his words... "Frontier Se...rvices has responded in positive ways to meet ever-increasing demands relating to mental health and depression in rural and regional Australia. Frontier Services may be made of 'tough timber' - key people with the necessary outback hardiness laced with charm - but they also have a capacity to renew and revamp at all levels throughout the organisation." We are ever grateful for his dedication to us and the people in Outback Australia. His memory lives on here at Frontier Services.

23.01.2022 We are showing up with The NRMA volunteers in the middle of NSW and showing we care. The laughter at the dinner table last night could have been heard in town ...56km away!!! #OutbackLinks brings joy and hope that there are people who care and want to stand alongside our farmers doing it tough. #BecauseIHaveKnownYouIAmChangedForGood #OutbackLinksChangesYou See more

22.01.2022 Message from our National Director Jannine Jackson to those impacted by the current #bushfires.

21.01.2022 Our amazing founder, Rev John Flynn, was a visionary who believed that people in the Outback deserved access to help and support when they needed it most. We ar...e so proud to still be carrying on his vision today. We think he would be delighted with what Frontier Services is achieving and that we are still turning up to the farm gate today, as he did over 100 years ago. It feels like we are walking in his footsteps and remembering him. Picking up this new twenty-dollar note today, I feel so proud to be part of his legacy! You can read more about John Flynn here: frontierservices.org/about/history/

19.01.2022 Unfortunately there are no links provided for the Baptist Association material we are using.

19.01.2022 Flying into Tamworth yesterday, spare a thought for the farmers because this drought is bad. #drought #wheresthegrass #norain #widebrownland #tamworth #tamworthnsw

13.01.2022 THANK YOU SO MUCH - We're so humbled by your responses to our call out for help this week. Thank you for reaching out and for helping us spread the word! As we ...work to connect #volunteers with farmers in need of a helping hand, a team of mechanics from The NRMA will next week be joining us in north-western New South Wales to visit properties with vehicles in need of repair and maintenance - vehicles that are essential for harvesting, mustering and feeding animals. We're excited to be partnering with the #NRMA again. Watch this space for updates. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, please visit https://frontierservices.org/volunteer to complete our Expression of Interest form and for answers to our FAQs.

08.01.2022 We remember Vale Rev Robert (Bob) MacIntosh AFC, OAM, MID Frontier Services are saddened to hear that Rev Robert (Bob) MacIntosh AFC, OAM, MID had passed away o...n 3 September 2019, aged 90. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jenny and family at this difficult time. Bob served Frontier Services in Meekatharra as flying Padre serving small towns, mines and indigenous communities. Bob was impressed with the generosity and hospitality of people in the bush. https://frontierservices.org/swords-into-plough-shears-fig/ He led a full and interesting life well worth hearing about. There is a recent radio interview linked here for those who want to find out more. http://radioadelaide.org.au//bob-macintosh-fighter-pilot-/ He will be remembered as a humble man who served his country faithfully. He served as a fighter pilot in RAAF in the Korean War, Malaya and then in Vietnam. We commemorate this wonderful man for who, despite receiving a Queens Commendation remained modest about his achievements. Rev Robert Andrew McIntosh AFC, OAM, MID born Nowra, NSW 12 March 1929. Died 3 September 2019

07.01.2022 Today is World Bread Day! Bruce Pascoe describes the way Aboriginal people harvested grain, turned it into flour and baked bread a sustainable practice that... is being carried out in communities today. "We don't have to water that crop. It waters itself...instead of us planting a seed and then pouring water on it, to try and replicate Europe, what we're doing is using Australian plants."

07.01.2022 We are looking for reasons to celebrate in 2020. The good news is the Great Outback BBQ is back! Its something fun to look forward to, make sure you put it in... your diary. What better reason do you need to celebrate than restrictions are lifting so grab your mates and share a meal. Just make sure you stay 1.5 meters apart and practice good hygiene. With government lifting restrictions we are keen to do something meaningful with our friends and family. You can have fun and help our Aussie Farmers. Aussie #farmers across the country need your help now more than ever. By hosting a #GreatOutbackBBQ and buying #AustralianGrown, youre supporting the very people providing the food on our tables. And youre showing them that you care. For more info or to register today, visit greatoutbackbbq.com.au #GOBBQ
