06.01.2022 FARINA BAKERY IN FULL SWING The New Bakery is now producing some fantastic goodies. The Wood Fired Underground oven is keeping up with demand and producing a be...autiful 1Kg Fruit Loaf, that’s yummy with lashings of butter around the camp fire, as well as the Artisan loaves we produce on a daily basis. The 8 hour Slow Cooked Beef, is so tender and forms part of a beef, bacon & cheese pie. What’s a bakery without cakes & biscuits, plenty of cakes and slices on offer here, watch the waistline!! The important Stone Work is ongoing, so if youd like the experience of re-pointing and laying some stone, then give it a go. A call out to volunteers, If you are in SA would you like to help out for a few days?? We would also love to hear from any Bakers that may be able to spare a few days. With COVID in Victoria 30% of our normal volunteers can’t come due to the lockdown, and things are a bit tight. So contact us via our web page https://farinarestoration.com/ you can register here.

04.01.2022 Remember these pictures of flooded roads and creek beds from up north a few weeks ago? With more rain forecast for the northern part of the state later tonight,... if you’re camping or live in those areas, it’s time to start thinking about how you can be prepared to stay safe. Avoid parking cars and setting up camps in creek beds so you don’t float away. And, if roads are flooded or there’s fast-flowing water around, don’t risk itturn the car around and find another way, and keep kids and others safe by not walking, playing or riding through it. If you need emergency SES assistance, give us a call on 132 500. For life-threatening emergencies, call 000 immediately. And remember to keep monitoring the weather by visiting the Bureau of Meteorology website.
