The food crisis has been exacerbated by the pandemic as many continue to struggle to bring food to the plates . Australian charities have revealed that the demand for food aid has jumped by an average of 47% due to COVID19, with international students being some of the worst affected. Throughout Nov...ember, Scoopy Milk Bar is raising funds to support FareShare Australia by aiming to donate a whopping 14,000 meals to those in need. FareShare is a charity kitchen which rescues otherwise wasted food from supermarkets, wholesalers, farmers and other businesses and cooks it into meals. FareShare, along with 1,500 wonderful volunteers, cooks free, nutritious meals for those who are doing it tough ??. Since Fareshare’s creation, over 250,000 free meals have been cooked and given to the disadvantaged population of both Melbourne and Brisbane.
