21.01.2022 As the 2020 school year comes to an end, in our closing Advent Liturgy we looked forward to the season of Advent, with the first day in the Church’s liturgical year being the first Sunday of Advent. This year, Advent commences this Sunday 29 November. We encouraged our students and staff to use this time as a time to refocus their lives and make those changes we all need to make to help us do things better, especially as we prepare for the celebration of Jesus’ birth at Christmas. #MtStMichaelsCollege #MSM #InFaithAndLove #adventliturgy

The girls watched the Japanese staff at Bishamon Restaurant start the cooking process, then very capably took over the assembly of the nutritious one pot dish. 15.01.2022 The Environment Group finished off the term by conducting a waste audit to measure how much rubbish was produced by MSM students in one day. The bins surrounding the convent lawn were analysed and found to contain: 13.9kg of compostable material, 4.9kg of recyclable materials, and 4.7kg of landfill. The students were shocked to see how much food waste was being sent to landfill, but were excited to know just how much of a difference our school-wide composting program could make when it is introduced in 2021! #MtStMichaelsCollege #MSM #InFaithAndLove #msmenvironmentgroup #MSMCommunityActionNetwork
